Help us make a difference! We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Area Head) based in Zurich to support the commercial team of PHILIP MORRIS S.A. (PMSA) in building and maintaining strong partnerships with retail chains and wholesalers in Switzerland. In this role you will successfully translate PMSA strategy into Key Account and Independ chains within defined geographical area, while managing/developing a team of 7 Territory Leads. You will share concrete proposals based on bottom up feedback with the Head of National Deployment. Your responsibilities: • Analyze performance vs KPI’s and other areas as well as POS and retailer performance vs. others in areas, chains. • Develop and motivate team members by providing adequate/specific training as per individual needs. Ensure retention of top performers and address underperformers in a timely manner. • Review of Territories action plan and ensure that activities are performed according to defined action plan. Regular follow up on performance. • Review result of activities and share feedback with others (peers and consumer programs) to improve ways of working and ultimately contribute to the definition of the PMSA Strategy. • Contact Key Account counterpart on a regular basis (depending on the account) to stimulate participation rate and leads per POS. • Join field visit in the chain POS to discuss actions to be taken (follow up on action plan). • Sharing of results based on performance management analysis. • Define individual objectives for team members according to PMSA priorities. • Encourage TLs to share feedback from consumers and retailers in order to improve programs and processes/tools. • Drive and support the team through the business transformation and adapt when needed based on learnings. We’re looking for someone with: • University degree with relevant work experience on Sales • Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Proven leadership skills with capacity to influence and coach • High priority setting and planning capacities with the ability to react quickly and effectively.
