Your 'day to day' As a Sr. Engineer Design Control, you will drive Design Control projects on smoke-free products and develop appropriate strategies to introduce new methodologies, processes and innovations in order to meet business needs. Furthermore, you will provide consultations to multiple areas of the organization on Design Control processes / methods. More specifically, you will: • Lead all stages of Design Control projects and coordinate the technical activities and the delivery of multi-disciplinary or cross-functional participants to meet the identified project scope and objectives required to ensure successful closures. • Via utilization of a sound understanding of PMI's business needs, participate in regular management reviews and act as Design Control Specialist and Advisor where technical information may have a potential positive impact on meeting the strategic objectives of PMI. • Lead and direct internal project members involved in Design Control activities to ensure project scopes, budgets, schedules, and timelines are developed & managed from project initiation until closure and is compliant to all PMI standards. • Perform knowledge management via data compilation, review, and storage in line with Company, FDA, or any other equivalent accreditation authority requirements. • Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by stakeholders, and implement adequate processes to ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature. Who we're looking for: • University Degree in Engineering, science or equivalent • Seasoned experience in the related field, preferably in R&D or operations environment of Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, food or Tobacco Industries. • Proven expertise in Quality Management System. • Past experience in leading cross-functional project and teams coupled with confirmed experience in Design Control projects. • Ability to empower people in order to meet the objectives. • Fast learner, effective communicator, and solid interpersonal abilities. • Good knowledge of English both oral and written.
