Your ‘day to day’ as the Manager Network Redesign • To be the global Subject Matter Leader for Network (re-)design and owns the development and continuous improvement of PMI’s network modelling and optimization tool: o Contribute to business justification of projects by managing scope, benefit-risk analysis, budget and resource requirements to advise and enable management to make decisions that meet long term strategies. o Contribute to resolution of project related issues by analyzing, identifying and proposing solutions to achieve the project objectives, provide project status reports and other project information to project leaders and senior management on a regular basis. • Acts as business partner for the supply chain leadership team (central and regional) to identify, prioritize and plan network (re-)design projects and plans Analyst/Developer resources accordingly. o Planning and design of projects in line with network / WH capacity needs at minimum cost and segmented deliveries per channel type o Understand customer brief and business needs, participate in defining requirements and finding solutions, and implement the agreed changes to reach the project goals. Serve as trusted advisor for business partners on project management issues. • Supports selected markets during all project stages; data gathering and validation, modelling, scenario analysis and roadmap creation for identified improvements. o Resolve complex projects/programs related issues and facilitating recommendations to achieve efficient solutions. Communicate and develop networking with management and partners (customers, suppliers) to facilitate efficiency in the project rolls out o Ensure that project information supplied to management is realistic with respect to cost and timing in order to avoid financing problems and delayed completion; provide accurate and properly scoped data to the successful completion of the project • Leads monthly PDCA sessions with the regions to ensure that identified productivity initiatives progress as per the targets set. o Ensures adherence to timelines and results are met according to target setting for every regional-local initiative • Is up to speed on market trends for related area and ensures continuous evolution of companies` capabilities in this domain. o Reviews and improves tools and methodologies based on industry trends and latest technologies available in the market Who we’re looking for: • Bachelor’s / Masters' degree in supply chain management and /or APICS type of Certifications • 10-15 years in a multinational environment, preferable FMCG, Consumer Electronics • Proven track record of results delivery • Hands-on experience in the use of specialized tools such as Llamasoft or Riverlogic is a must have • Experience on Warehousing and Logistics flows, inter-dependencies between production, inventory and shipments • Understanding the basic Warehousing setups from fully fixed model to full activity-based models and the pro/ cons of each setup • Data driven and being able to read data files/ build data files with support of markets • Strong interpersonal capabilities: • Communication and presentation skills to share regular update on project & market progress • Project leading experience in adhering to specific timelines and understanding • Managing a team of developers and interacting with the team on priorities and validating business cases • Interacting and leading internal business partners priorities and expectations • Calling out matters to management whenever needed What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
