Your ‘day to day’ Lead and manage all aspects of PMI Duty Free’s business, in the assigned area of responsibility, to reach short and long term business objectives, delivering sustainable business growth, supporting PMI initiatives and developing talent. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Business Strategy & Planning • Monitor and analyze overall business environment, customer & competitive actions as well as trade channel performance & trends in order to identify present and future business threats & opportunities. • Provide periodic input for the development, and lead the deployment of Brand Portfolio, pricing and Trade &Consumer Engagement strategies. • Lead pricing and margin proposals in accordance with fiscal and macro-economic developments in the markets to maintain and extend profitable leadership in all trade channels. • Propose a market/channel coverage plan. Monitor actual vs. planned coverage and deploy the team to take remedial actions when necessary. • Plan and lead geo-expansion initiatives in new markets and/or channels within designated area and conduct due diligence. 2. Reporting & KPI Tracking • Set KPI targets based on overall company objectives as well as team's input on market & channels performance and trends. • Provide input for forecasting, recommendations for stock management, monitor results vs. annual, quarterly & monthly targets, and deploy team to take corrective actions if necessary. 3. Account Management • Build long term collaborative and sustainable relationships with key PMIDF's business partners and support them to achieve superior results. • Propose and deploy an approach to negotiating commercial terms with business partners. • Continuously evaluate business effectiveness in the area and make proposals to optimize business relationships through best serving means. • Lead the team to ensure best quality of merchandising execution in the field. 4. Consumer Experience • Ensure seamless LAU/LAS consumer experience in Duty Free touchpoints and as per touch point segmentation, by effectively implementing the overall Consumer Experience strategy & toolbox to impact positively consumer perception. • Plan superior execution in order to address consumer pain points and build category leadership. • Belief in PMI vision of “Smoke Free World” and ability to inspire the team, peers and major stakeholders to endorse it. • Ability to manage manpower agencies and lead teams in order to execute activities, with high quality, attention to detail and efficiency. Ability to assess and analyze activation/investment impact. • Strong partnerships with PMI domestic teams to build integrated plans and create value throughout consumer journey. 5. Regulatory & Product Flow Compliance • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in order to anticipate external developments that may impact PMIDF’s business. • Know and stay in compliance with the letter and spirit of the applicable laws, and standards of business conduct, reflected in our Code of Conduct and PMI Principles & Practices. • Ensure that the team is trained and complies with all the related policies, procedures and processes, providing guidance as and when appropriate. 6. People's Management • Build and lead a competent and engaged team to meet current and future business challenges with specific responsibility to strengthen talent pipeline, increase managerial effectiveness and develop talent for PMI. • Propose and implement organizational changes to meet strategic business needs. 7. Budget & Resource Management • Manage deployment of assigned commercial investments. • Manage controllable cost budget (sales allowance, trade incentives) and propose corrective/ preventive initiatives in case of eventual deviations. Who we’re looking for • Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required. • At least 15+ years of experience in leadership positions in multinational organisations (FMCG) or engagement manager from a top tier consultant firm • Excellent command of Excel and PowerBi (or other reporting tools) • Professional qualification in project management • Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures. • Strong organizational and planning skills. • Experience in budget management What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
