YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’ As Senior Manager Sustainability Governance, you will be part of Global Manufacturing function, in Manufacturing Transformation team for Philip Morris International and will be reporting to the Head of Sustainability Global Manufacturing. The position can be based in Crespellano (Italy). A key responsibility will be to work across the business to support the development and the establishment of global sustainability strategy, systems and governance processes to achieve best in class standards. Specific responsibilities include: • Leadership - develop and lead deployment of Global Manufacturing Sustainability's activities related to Sustainability Governance across PMI Manufacturing • Lead global digital program - develop and lead the deployment of governance tools leveraging digital solutions to achieve the scale (e.g. corporate data reporting/accident reporting, tools, and systems) in line with the Sustainability pillar/function requirements in order to drive improvements • Audit - Develop and deploy global internal cross audit system in line with best in class practices. Ensure partners agreement and site EHS managers 'auditor capability' building, in order to gain full collaboration through audit and develop a continuous learning network • Capabilities development - Develop the highly relevant learning and capability building content for all Manufacturing sustainability community and deploy it at scale • Budget & & Compliance - Develop an appropriate budget covering all needs in scope of responsibility to deliver ambitious agenda of Manufacturing sustainability on the level of network. Establish global process ensuring sites adherence to relevant legislation requirements, EHS requirements and systematic improvements following accidents/incidents takeaways • Social - Contribute to the definition of the social sustainability framework for manufacturing, in close collaboration with PMI Operations Sustainability group in line with best practices. Who we’re looking for: • University Degree in science or engineering • Technical knowledge of Environmental Engineering and Industrial or Occupational Health and Safety issues • 10 years’ experience in a business focus function (Operations, Compliance, EHS&S, legal, etc.) and able to demonstrate project management ability and system thinking • A complementary experience in social sustainability in manufacturing is a clear plus • Being a certified ISO 14001 auditor is a plus • English proficient WHAT WE OFFER Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
