Your ‘day to day’: As Senior Solution Architect, Product Quality Assurance you will be part of our IT Department and will be reporting to the Manager IT Product & Corporate Quality. The position will be based in Bologna. Your Responsibilities: • Set the overall technology direction for the product through leveraging common architectural patterns, building and maintaining a future-state blueprint and sponsoring innovation • While operating within a sub-platforms, maintains the "big picture" view to ensure architectural alignment and overall cohesive environment • Help define the technical direction for the product and coordinate across product teams within a given sub-platform • Transforms requirements into specific solution architecture design documents • Participates in user story writing and collaborates with the product team to identify technical direction to achieve story objectives in creating solutions • Assesses technology trends to identify architectural spikes and collaborates with the product owner to get them scheduled within the DevOps team • Governs the technical design against approved architectural standards • Works with Domain Architect(s) to ensure solution architecture aligns to design guidelines • Acts as the technology knowledge specialist on any given product Who we’re looking for: • University degree (Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent) with additional certificates, degrees or experience in Project Management & Service Management; • 5-8 years of experience in Information Technology with proven expert level of knowledge in the domain of manufacturing and product quality assurance. • Understand key processes in technology delivery • Experience working in a conceptualization, experimentation approach to innovation. • Exposure to International environment • Fluency in written and spoken English. • Understanding of Product Quality related Manufacturing processes such as “on/at line quality” concepts. • Experience working with Labvantage solutions and/or Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) solutions • Experience with designing the connectivity and integration of lab instruments in multiple lab/ countries with related LIMS systems • Understanding of IoT (Internet of Things) and how this technology could improve quality • Understanding of the specificities of a Quality Management System (QMS) • Experience with design and implementation of IT solutions utilizing modern software architectures (microservices, DevOps process and toolset, infrastructure as a code, messaging integration) • Integration technologies (API, ESB, ETL, Message Server). Preferably experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform • AWS Solution Architect Associate/Professional or similar proved experience • Hands-on experience with on-premise and cloud solutions configuration and implementation • Agile methods and processes (e.g.: Scrum, SAFe, DevOps) • Basic understanding of ITIL principles and processes • Preferably experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence), Jenkins, Artifactory (nice to have) • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, etc.) (nice to have) • Databases: MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Openshift), Oracle (nice to have) • Basic networking, including Firewall, Load Balancers, DNS, etc. (nice to have) • Security remediation process (vulnerability assessment and patch management) (nice to have) • Dynamic, confident personality with the ability to successfully define and drive project execution with minimal guidance amidst multiple priorities and goals • Proven track record in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively • Strong skills in communication, writing, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Team player with proven ability to lead through influence Recruiter: Rita Gherardi Employment Type: Permanent Relocation package offered What we offer: Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
