We are looking for a Quality Engineer- Material who will work in İzmir; Read further if you want to learn what the main responsibilities of the role are: • Coordinate, lead and manage material trial activities to ensure timely and effective implementation of material change initiatives. • Provide technical Quality support and expertise in order to improve material, products and Quality performances. • Ensure timely material quality support in case of any quality problems encountered on products, providing quality risk assessment and an accurate action plan/solution that immediately mitigates impact on Quality and Production KPI's. • Ensure strong partnership with DIM suppliers focusing on collaboration and information exchange to ensure excellent quality of materials and Compliance with PMI requirements, standardization and continuous improvement. • Investigate in a timely manner material related non-conformities and deviation. • Consistently apply OPEN+ standards of working. • Lead initiatives in order to improve the quality standards of materials • Challenge all standard processes and materials in order to propose productivity initiatives • Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, environment, health and safety. • Participate in the creation/review of procedures, work instructions and other Quality Documents that are required. You: • Hold a university degree • Have at least 2 years of experience in Quality / Manufacturing departments • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and have attention for detail • Are collaborative, a team player, customer oriented and a quick learner • Experienced with Material & Supplier Improvement Processes and Lean Manufacturing Operating Model will be asset.
