We are looking for a Production Line Lead who will work in İzmir-Torbali and be responsible for leading the production process on assigned manufacturing lines for eliminating losses by effective problem solving and process control tools to support in delivering the business results of the production line. This line involves also supervising of direct report who work around the clock 7/24. Read further if you want to learn what the main responsibilities of the role are: • Focusing on finished goods costs reduction opportunities by efficiency and improvement of production equipment efficiency. • Executing and lead the processes for eliminating losses by effective problem solving and process control tools to support in delivering the business results of the line. • Optimization of production plan in order to reach optimization both in manning & format conversion durations. •Providing guidance, leadership, and coaching to the line staff in order to build their capability. •Enhance utilization of assets (human, materials and equipment) and facilitate alignment with business strategy and needs •Drive improved decision making and commercial insight, working closely with all areas of the manufacturing business to identify opportunities for improvement and actively drive outcomes. Partner with senior leaders across the organisation to improve results and partner with the operations team to deliver new solutions •Controlling production process parameters and take appropriate actions in case of their incompliance with Philip Morris standards. •Fully applying the Integrated Manufacturing System (IMS) and PMI standards & policies. •Improve short, medium and long-term planning, continually evolving the process to deliver greater insight on underlying trends and risks & opportunities; and deliver practical solutions to improve results. •Build value by monitoring, analysing and understanding operational performance, as well as challenging the business to stretch itself strategically and operationally. You: •Hold a university degree in Mechanical, Electric & Electronic, Chemical or Industrial engineering •3-to-8 years of experience in people management and managerial position •Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English •Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and have attention for detail •Advanced project management skills and understanding of design thinking. •Open minded personality with strong communication & interpersonal skills. •A team player who is customer oriented, good at stakeholder management •Disruptive innovator and a quick learner •IOS(integrated Operating System_OPEN+) knowledge and contractor management is plus •Previous experience within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment preferred One more thing: at Philip Morris we see equal pay for equal work between woman and men as the baseline standard for equality.
