To help us in this mission, we are looking for a talented individual who is customer focused and has excellent problem-solving skills to join our team as Senior IT Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for you to shape our IS services that support critical commercial business processes. You will be key in ensuring continuous operational excellence, high-level customer satisfaction, and ultimately help us achieve our mission. YOUR DAY TO DAY • You will be responsible to maintain high-level service standards for commercial applications, problem-solve technical issues. • Provide general support to internal and external customers. • You will work collaboratively with a cross functional agile team and service providers to ensure service levels are met and the platform is operating 24/7. • You will encourage the incorporation of proven practices, agile and lean ways of working. YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON IF • You hold a bachelor’s degree (Computer Science and Software Engineering or similar discipline) • 5-7 years of experience in IS related positions (DevOps) • 2 years’ experience in web programming technologies (C# .NET Framework / .NET Core, AngularJS) • Strong database background (Microsoft SQL Server DBA, Oracle or Postgresql) • Experience as a system administrator of MS Windows and/or Linux servers • Experience in cloud infrastructure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Experience with scripting languages (VBScript, Javascript, Powershell) • Infrastructure knowledge and have an appetite to learn and apply new IS service practices. • Previous work within an agile development environment is an asset • Control or security related experience is a strong asset • Previous expertise in supporting commercial applications is an asset • Previous exposure to Service-Now and JIRA is an asset WHAT WE OFFER We offer the opportunity to join an organization where you can grow in a wide range of business functions.
