We are currently hiring a Global Procurement Manager for Supply Chain Services - Logistics Control Tower The role will be based in Hong Kong. A valid work permit or citizenship is required for this position Your ‘day to day’: Based in our Hong Kong office and being part of the Indirect Materials and Services Procurement Center of Expertise of Philip Morris International the LCT Category Lead will cover the following objectives: • Develop Global Category Strategic Procurement plan by interacting with key stakeholders, analyzing category data and metrics to drive and deliver end-to-end category management practices in line with overall functional strategies • Master market and industry dynamics and manage to connect trends and solutions with PMI needs • Support in optimizing the global operational LCT processes • Execute Global and Regional strategies by engaging with internal cross-functional partners, and building relationships with external suppliers and industry Professionals while adhering to current processes and recommending improvements to standard processes • Focus on cost improvement by achieving significant negotiated savings year over year while maintaining and improving quality and service levels. • Focus on cash flow improvement targets & develop/Deploy cost reduction initiatives. • Support top line growth via Innovation, Value initiatives by recommending and leading identified improvements • Lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process. • Ensure category plans remain current and Regional heads/key affiliates are informed and involved accordingly and support global projects as identified and agreed in the category plan. • Develop mechanisms and metrics to track supplier performance related to delivery, quality, and cost • Ensure efficient communication with Regional Supply Chain business stakeholders. Who we’re looking for: • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or equivalent with experience in freight forwarding and Supply Chain related fields at global or regional level with high specialization in 3PL’s/4PL’s, LCT deployment and implementation. • Proven experience procuring these services / answering tenders for end customers. • Be familiar with real-time tracking information • Experience in sourcing of: supply chain systems and carriers integration in digital landscape, Operations BPO offshore, Customs brokerage, Supply Chain consultancy • Be passionate about new digital platforms for the Logistics Control Towers • Strong Supply Chain Expertise on the above categories at regional / global scale • Master the cost structure of all services above mentioned as well as the supplier’s footprint • Proven Project Management Skills • Result Oriented • Strategic and critical thinking • Strong verbal and written communication plus analytical skillset • Proficiency in English, other languages are a plus • Entrepreneurship & Commercial sense What we offer: Our success depends on every colleague who comes to work every single day with a sense of purpose and a drive for progress.
