Sr. Tax Analyst ’s main goal is to deal with tax matters (Direct, Indirect, TP and Tax Accounting) in the respective market in efficient and effective manner. In addition to ensuring compliance with Tax requirements, the Tax representative will act as co-pilot in the processes and projects of the other streams, offering tax trainings and advisory for the decision-making process. The main accountabilities for position are: ? Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement regarding the Tax Operation function for the local market. ? Execute best in class/efficient operational Tax processes for Tax reporting, Tax provision, transfer pricing, indirect and direct tax compliance. Specially the following processes in the initial phase: • IPR and Customs Duty Drawback • Licensing warehousing (excise and customs) • Import/export processes • US GAAP tax accounting • Statutory tax accounting • Income tax return preparation and filing Income tax payments • OC fee support file • Non-deductible expenses ? Be up to date with relevant legislation (including PEZA) to manage effectively the local market tax positions, tax audits, tax litigation and communication with Fiscal Authorities. ? Ensure and execute timely and accurate filing of all tax filings obligations in the local market. Ensure timely payment and/or refund of all tax obligations. ? Advisory and trainings provided to respective teams in the organization in the tax area to assure proper tax risk mitigation. Other skills: ? Excellent analytical thinking skill and ability to work independently for problem solving. ? Excellent communication skill in both written and spoken for English. ? Excellent collaboration skill and ability to work in a team to achieve consumer satisfaction. ? Well organized and with good knowledge of record keeping practices. ? Resourceful, self-sufficient and independent. Systems Good understanding commercial and financial systems. i.e.: SAP, DTE and CIS systems Advanced knowledge in MS Office. Macro and Power BI will be considered a differentiator. Who we’re looking for: • A Bachelor in Taxation, Law or Economics and at least 5 years of experience in taxation matters, covering the areas of: o Direct, Indirect, TP and Tax Accounting o Other local requirements including Peza o Accounting reconciliation o IPR and Customs Duty Drawback o Import/export processes • A business partner for the affiliate's Tax area, supporting projects and in line with the legal requirements of that country. • Technologies and tools such as SAP, CIS, DTE, MS Office.
