Core: • Responsible for all areas relating to finance, accounting, taxation, compliance and reporting functions • IBS finance team oversight; IBS financial planning; Local treasury activities for the IBS • Coordinating efforts to ensure all functions including accounting services - PTP, OTC, RTR, Tax, Controlling and Treasury tasks - are taken care of by BPO and respective IBS locations (i.e. KRK and Surabaya) Review of account transactions posting to ensure alignment to both statutory and managerial reporting requirements • Assist in the preparation of monthly Financial and Managerial Reports to be used both for statutory requirements and business decision making • Review accuracy, completeness and relevance of reports generated • Propose improvements and automation on currently held process for report generation • Address the concerns and questions of business stakeholders and users of the output reports • Provides monthly and quarterly overview of financial performance of the company including key reporting tasks related to BIR, PEZA, DOLE, DTA and other functions • Key financial performance updates in preparation for quarterly board meetings • Tracks SLA performance of Finance, P&C and govt reporting for the company Overseeing the below: • Monthly revenue accruals based on the actual costs and the FTEs billable for the month. Involve also in Month-end closing activities such as posting of the Billing Invoices in the Accounting Software and recording of collections for the month. Also includes the computation of the Income Tax Provision based on Gross Income Tax for the ecozone and RCIT for the other non-PEZA sites (still processing the application to PEZA) • Fixed Asset Process-Doing all entries related to Fixed Asset such as acquisition, depreciation and retirement • Handling all the compliance of the Center for Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) such as VAT (including VAT Relief/SLSP), Withholding Tax (including Alphalist), Withholding Tax on Compensation, Fringe Benefit Tax, Donor’s Tax, Income Tax Return and all other requirements regarding taxation • Liaising with the Professional Consultants of the Company in terms of the PEZA Compliance Review and BIR Tax Review • In-charge of Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Compliance such as EcoZone • Applying for the PEZA registration of the other sites, including drafting of the company’s project • Checking of the Statutory Reports (SSS, PHIC, HDMF) prepared by the Human Resource Department before submission for payment
