YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’ Elaborate and manage the maintenance strategies, industrialization support for all technological process’s development and execution, manufacturing support/analytical group, special production, palletizing, filter shooting, outsourcing activities across entire manufacturing ensuring continuous production process in accordance with set objectives on productivity, cost optimization, on production process quality, product quality, cost, safety and other applicable KPI's/standards. LEADERSHIP / PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT • Develop and maintain a high performance team in the department through providing direction, establishing and communicating expectations, monitoring performance, coaching and counseling subordinates. Ensure the level of qualification of Technical Services department staff, identify needs for training and development thus contributing to professional growth of employees. Actively look out for current and future talents and identify development needs and potential career opportunities. Plan the activities in such a way that the subordinates can plan on a medium-term basis, to ensure succession to the key positions within the department and contributing to individual career development. PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT / MANUFACTURING ASSUMPTIONS, BUDGETING&REPORTING • Monitor and analyze Manufacturing performance to achieve production’s objectives at optimal cost. Identify potential gaps and their reasons and close them allowing the learning. Ensure that productivity improvement targets are set, understood and that action plans are implemented effectively to continually increase productivity and optimal use of Manufacturing assets and resources to ensure business objectives are met. Drive and establish the short- and long-term manufacturing assumption and define the related objectives. Define and recommend the Manufacturing budget and keep a close control on all expenses. Identify opportunities in terms of maintenance and cleaning to reduce cost. Ensure reporting of Manufacturing results within Manufacturing department and other involved functions. Propose, justify, and submit planned expenses for Manufacturing and continuously monitor and analyze relevant performance data QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT • Emphasize importance of quality and build awareness of RRP QA system through the development of suitable communication channels and continuous improvement. Establish quality checking and improvement policies in Manufacturing in order to meet the needs of the customers through the effective use of resources: equipment/ material/financial/human. Drive quality improvement initiatives to achieve constant quality KPI's improvement, develop and maintain effective procedures to improve quality awareness and understanding within Manufacturing to meet or improve the desired quality level defined by PM. Improvement System and Statistical Process Control. Set up and manage the implementation of Quality Improvement System action plans in order to sustain a continual improvement culture. PLANNING AND CONTROL/MANUFACTURING SUPPORT • Analyze production plans and propose optimal usage of Manufacturing equipment. Coordinate Manufacturing departments work to ensure most efficient equipment utilization, minimal downtimes, and optimal personnel utilization. Plan special production processes, such as new product launch related marketing projects. Support Industrialization department for kit/ machine installation, start-up, training, and hand over to production of the new Manufacturing equipment. Ensure operation system efficiency by developing internal knowhow and expertise to support manufacturing and IS in new development and system upgrade MAINTENANCE OF DOCUMENTATION AND PROCEDURES • To ensure development, introduction and updating of preventive electronic and mechanical maintenance procedures, repair works procedures as well as all necessary technical documentation. To ensure timely update of the catalogues, procedures, and other documentation to register any improvements and changes in the equipment operation. MAINTENANCE & ASSET MANAGEMENT, INVESTMENT • Elaborate and execute Maintenance and asset management strategies in short-terms and LRP horizon in order to produce quality product while maximizing equipment uptime with optimal cost. Develop technical skill base that leads to ownership of asset care and improved production performance, to realize, safeguard planned production volumes, quality and protect the health of the company's assets. Proactively exchange know-how and learnings with other affiliates to ensure state of the art knowledge and skills of the maintenance staff. In liaison with the Engineering Department; evaluate both technical and commercial options to improve Manufacturing performance and flexibility and, where appropriate, recommend equipment changes and support their implementation. Participate in targeted KPI development for the new equipment and follow-up their achievement. Ensure strict adherence to the new equipment acceptance procedure from OEMs side. COMPLIANCE / ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY • Adhere to all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) rules, policies, and procedures. Take an active part in EHS programs deployment to further increase people awareness on all EHS dimensions. Evaluate risks at workplaces, take appropriate measures for risks reduction. Work in close cooperation with EHS department to develop and improve departmental safety and job procedures and participate to risk assessment projects in cooperation with EHS for current and new asset or processes implementation RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATION • Ensure positive and efficient communication, through all the levels of management, by developing effective working relationships with all employee groups with the aim to create a positive attitude toward an improvement culture.
