PMI’s shift from selling cigarettes to our new smoke-free products has changed the way we work. New products bring new challenges – in the way we source and buy raw materials, in the way we engineer and manufacture, and in our supply chain planning. Your ‘day to day’ Reporting to the CPO, the Sr. Manager Sustainability program works in collaboration with global sustainability and procurement team. Within this role you will interact with internal and external partners to implement sustainability programs following the Procurement Sustainability strategy and roadmap. • Collaborate with Sustainability department to define then implement sustainability programs within procurement • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and stakeholders to support i) the definition of procurement sustainability objectives and ii) the development and deployment of tools and processes to assess suppliers’ performance. • Engage with key suppliers and establish specific sustainability projects, metrics and supervise progress (Co2, deforestation, etc.) • Identify in partnership with the respective category manager; new materials, technologies and suppliers to support our sustainability agenda • Engage with other PMI functions to activate and support projects and/or concepts • Tailor the sustainability skills and training materials for the direct material procurement organization • Supervise and report all projects that align to global procurement sustainability outcomes for stakeholder reporting We’re looking for someone with: • University degree or equivalent in Business Administration • Experience working in large, multinational companies ideally FMCG • 10+ years of professional experience in Sustainability or Procurement with exposure to Sustainability • Good technical understanding of CO2 emission measurement and/or deforestation risk management • Excellent project management skills • Good analytical skills • Strong leadership and communication skills • Consistent track record in directing programs in multi-national and multi-cultural environments • Able to work autonomously • Fluent in English • Strong teamwork and collaboration spirit What we offer: Our success depends on the talented employees who come to work at PMI every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
