Within Operations function - Product Portfolio Management & Deployment (PPMD) is at the center of a powerful triangle of deep consumer connection, product innovation and project management excellence. For our PPMD Strategy and Performance Delivery team in Switzerland (Lausanne or Neuchatel), we are looking for a Lead Capability Building. In this position you will lead the Education & Training pillar activation and deployment in PPMD, working with functional leaders to develop and ensure alignment of the capability management with the functional strategy, monitor progress and develop and deploy action plans to address the capability gaps of today and tomorrow. You will also lead the compliance pillar activation and deployment in PPMD, ensure alignment, readiness and adherence of the organization towards PMI compliance requirements. You will also apply project management capabilities to various functional ways-of-working related initiatives. Key tasks include but are not limited to: CAPABILITY MANAGEMENT STRATEGY • Enable the organization to identify capability gaps for today and for tomorrow, and strategize on the approach to acquire the required capabilities (Internal build, Hire, Borrow from consultants or external partners). • Ensure that the capability management strategy is in synchronization with the strategic direction. Adjust the capability deployment strategy as per business evolution. EDUCATION AND TRAINING DEPLOYMENT LEAD • Ensure the implementation of the capability roadmap for the entire organization; follow up on the deployment execution; develop reporting; Pivot /Liaise with the central organization to ensure that PPMD implements and rolls-out OPS-wide processes across the function Ensure implementation of Open+ Education & Training pillar within the function. COMPLIANCE • Support the organization in ensuring the compliance with the quality management system. Act as AIR (Always Inspection Ready) Coordinator for the function. Liaise with central QA organization to ensure impeccable implementation of global standards. PROJECT MANAGEMENT • Accountable for planning and managing the execution of one or more assigned functional projects, and accountable for their successful delivery within specified timelines. Manage all aspects of the project planning and execution process, ensuring that the project is effectively planned and mobilized, and delivered to agreed cost, time and quality metrics COMMUNICATION • Support the organization on deploying the relevant communication intervention to the organization (e.g. strategy, performance) according to the global and functional communication calendar. Contribute to content creation when needed and ensure consistency across the different intervention.
