Our work spans the globe and includes audit, treasury, internal control, and commercial financial support. Your day to day Financial Controlling is responsible for managing total company profitability through forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. This includes: • Actual Month-end Activities to monitor monthly cost vs budget and report performance to management • RF Activities to review actualized months and budget year to go profitability • OBLRP Activities to provide profitability roadmap 3 years down the line You will partner with multiple functions in the company to develop plans to grow Reduced Risk Products (RRP) business unit, manage costs and build finance acumen across the organization. You will lead overall forecasting and budget management of full RRP product category P&L, Commercial Costs, and G&A; management reporting locally and to PMI; and project support for commercialization. Together with FC Manager, you are also expected to drive SOX compliance within the FC Team as well as lead matters concerning Salaries & Wages. Responsibilities: Design & Continuous Improvement— • Apply understanding of RRP Business to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures • Work closely with FCM to understand root causes and represent process procedures, practicalities, and exceptions Execution— • Collect assumptions on overheads & business expenses, consolidate budget and provide input to Tagetik and GMRB for OB and RFs • Provide standard, adhoc and scenario-based financial analysis, including multidimensional view (Consumer Journey, ZBS, PBO) • Prepare analysis supporting resource allocation and investments planning advisory aimed at cost optimization and RRP growth • Escalate material deviations and propose corrective actions to FC Manager • Support the markets / region during the budget cycles (LRP/OB/RF/LE) in collaboration with Records to Record organization to ensure Legal Entity financials preparation • Together with FC Manager, drive compliance to internal and extenal policies e.g. SOX, month-end checklists • Prepare analysis and support for internal and external audit requirements, liaising with the auditors and colleagues across the business as required • Co-lead the scope of Salaries & Wages together with FCM and IBS S&W Business support & collaboration— • Effectively collaborate with COE Reporting for extensive analysis and ad hoc request needs to support market demand on financial performance • Liaise with other IBS process delivery groups to ensure high quality customer service and to guarantee continuous service improvement • Support FC Manager as SPOC for market Who we’re looking for— Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA (or equivalent) preferred. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, an advantage. Related Work Experience: 4-6 years relevant work experience.
