The GOLD Studio Specialist (UX) will be responsible for creating exceptional digital learning products, for internal and external use. They will be creating custom designs and delivering across multiple GOLD Studio services, for internal clients across all functions within PMI, globally. This will cover, but not be limited to: • LMS community and article pages • Branding creation and redesign services • Design consultancy • Creation of digital learning products, such as infographics, print and presentation materials • Comms materials for all PMI digital communication channels • Design assets for 2D/3D animations, motion graphics and Augmented and Virtual Reality experiences • Further creation and enhancement of templated and automated design products for self-service use by internal clients There are also other custom solutions, such as game and custom UI elements, that require a level of design thinking and production beyond a midweight Graphic Designer. This role requires someone with both exceptional technical design ability and the ability to convey narratives and key messages through design. They will have a passion for design trends, the ability to draw and build on their own and other experiences, as well as work closely with stakeholders at all levels, to articulately challenge, define and execute on deliverables. Accountability 1: • Create and manage a separate consultancy stream, focusing on user research and data analysis for Global Learning products. Ensure the product design and production is addressing the user requests and needs of the business problem. This requires a high level of consultancy, stakeholder management and data analysis skill to achieve the desired outcomes. Accountability 2: Lead all areas of design, for assigned projects. • Support GOLD Studio Manager and/or Project Manager on client brief meetings, to ensure full scope is agreed, defined, and documented clearly • Lead on creative conversations with clients and stakeholders, to define and agree sign-off on creative direction • Create concept / wireframe designs and prototypes for client review, including agreed rounds of edits • Take direction from the Project Manager for production and edit scheduling Lead the Design to Developer handover, ensuring all agreed UI/UX materials, documentation and collateral is in accordance with the agreed GOLD Studio processes Accountability 3: Collaborate with GOLD Studio peers on automation and template products; • Create high-end atomic design systems internally to the GOLD Studio, for faster and consistent production • Create self-service products for internal clients and third-party vendors, including user guides and consultancy services for each product • Continuous iteration and design maintenance / governance across all automated and templated design services • Proactively manage and iteratively update the user interface component library, that drives the automated article builder product • Collaborate with GOLD Studio peers, to innovate current templates and explore new digital learning products for automation Accountability 4: Support the cost-saving agenda for the GOLD Studio, annually. • Guide stakeholders through consultancy design sprints, to define where automated / templated products are best used, than third-party vendor spend • Collaborate with wider CoE team on cost-saving efficiency, through product design decisions - including user requests and feature selection, to define the best user-experience and designed product Accountability 5: • Work closely with other design teams in the Global Studio - Global Comms, UX and Visual Design, as well as with P&ED and third party vendors, to deliver new services and products to all of PMI Work experience: • Midweight to Senior Graphic Design experience, either in an agency or corporate environment. Experience working within a fast-paced and high-production creative or design team, also in a client-facing capacity.
