You will be employed in Hong Kong under Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. You will support the Smoke-Free Products at electronic Product Development Center (ePDC). In this position you will work with Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) in Asia to perform material/ component planning executed at the most efficient manner and inventory level is optimized for production. Key tasks include but limited to: Inventory Governance • Define governance process and ensure all stakeholders adhere to the process • Establish Data Storage system for Material Planning team to retain documentation to ensure liability traceability and audit compliance purpose. This includes but not limited to (SOP, Instruction to EMS/ Component Suppliers, Proof of Destruction documents, etc.) • Own the governance and be accountable for audit compliance Planning Process and Parameter Adherence • Establish KPI, processes to ensure planning process, planning parameters and planning logic are efficient. Review performance with EMS and suppliers on a regular basis and identify correction actions. • work with procurement to ensure up-to-date SLA and commercial terms for component suppliers are reached to EMS in time to optimize component planning. • Ensure process and communication between EMS and PMI managed suppliers are efficient Material Planning • Ensure component readiness for production. Work with EMS to create visibility for PMI for any T2 capacity issue and propose alternative solutions to achieve OTIF KPI. • The escalation point for EMS and Component supplier for all supply chain issues. Identify solutions to resolve supply issues between EMS and component suppliers • Mange and evaluate risk buy plan. Optimize risk buy proposal to mitigate risk for the company and at the same time achieve fulfilment target. • Identify risk and propose mitigation plan for ECN change. Propose cut-in time for transition to balance exposure and business requirement. We’re looking for someone with: • A Bachelor’s degree in area of Supply Chain/ Engineering/ Manufacturing Management . Applicants with a MSc in Supply Chain or an MBA will have added advantage • 10 – 12 years of experience in Supply Chain (business planning, production planning, capacity planning) • Proven track record in Supply Chain (business planning, production planning, capacity planning) • Excellent command of MS office Excel • Strong analytical, negotiation and presentation skills What we offer Our success depends on the women and men who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
