Your ‘day to day As Trade Activation Specialist you will be supporting Manager Trade Activation (GT) in the design, creation and deployment of trade activities purposed to improve performance and engagement of retail partners within the General Trade segment of Indirect channel. You will be accountable for: • Proposing and building multi-platform brand initiatives including design of mechanics, scope, supporting legal documents (trade agreements/T&Cs), budgets, purposed to add organizational value (ROI) and trade engagement. You will be gathering regional feedback on the development of trade programs, ensuring bottom-up knowledge and expertise is incorporated into the design and deployment of initiatives. • Leading projects that add value to the organization by improving existing processes and/or developing new tools as well as NCAs (non-combusted alternatives) & Combustible portfolio initiatives. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional project key stakeholders to ensure superior execution deployment. • Supporting Trade Activation Manager (GT) in building and maintaining an accurate and transparent Trade Activation Calendar that outlines all trade initiatives and activities for NCAs (non-combusted alternatives) and combustible products nationally. • Reviewing and approving of trade payments to retail trade partners nationally. You will be responsible for backend setup of trade program initiatives including communication of reporting requirements, systems capabilities and future enhancements. • Developing requirements for program performance and KPI reporting in conjunction with the Commercial Intelligence team for the purpose of deriving actionable insights and analytics for decision making. YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in CPG/FMCG and/or Marketing • Post-secondary degree in Business Management or Marketing • Experience working with marketing agencies • Experience in end-to-end design/deployment of retail trade programs/campaigns/contests • Strong negotiation and sales skills as well as leadership capabilities • Ability to multitask as well as excellent communication skills • Experience in analyzing data and deriving key insights to create trade program strategy. • Strong knowledge of Power Point and Excel • Bilingualism is an asset WHAT WE OFFER We offer the opportunity to join an organization where you can grow in a wide range of business functions.
