Your 'day to day' As a Method Transfer Lead, you will be in charge of method transfer projects within PMI Testing laboratories for all our products portfolio. This position is key to ensure that relevant and appropriate analytical capability is deployed across PMI testing laboratories in charge of commercial testing and based on product business roadmap and laboratory footprint strategy. Together with key partners, you will plan, coordinate and execute activities as per business calendar, including the definition of relevant contingency plan when deviations from initial plan occur. You will also be in charge to define and develop appropriate strategies to standardize the transfer packages. More specifically, you will: • Lead the definition of method deployment strategy to support business needs, which includes the coordination of Method Transfer Master plan definition and regular follow up on progress vs plan. • Drive First Time Deployment operations between testing laboratories and ensure the availability of transfer packages to allow the execution of Standard Deployments. • Supervise and guide internal project members and external consultants or vendors to ensure project scopes, schedules and timelines are followed from project initiation until closure and is compliant to all PMI standards. • Act as Laboratory Governance single entry point in case of introduction/review of Quality Control Strategies or changes on global product roadmaps to evaluate impacts on Testing Laboratories in collaboration with other stakeholders. • Via utilization of a sound understanding of PMI’s business needs, participate in technical committees meeting on method/technology related topics and advices on how to proceed to meet strategic objectives of PMI. • Enhance existing processes for method transfer and relevant QMS documents and based on evolving business needs Who we're looking for: • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality or equivalent. • Meaningful experience in research and development within tobacco, food or pharmaceutical industry. • Strong experience in method transfer related to laboratories. • Proven knowledge about various manufacturing materials processes (polymers, papers, metal) is an advantage. • Proven track record in problem solving, team collaboration in cross-functional projects. • You are creative, always looking for solutions and opportunities, ready to take a challenge. • You are experienced and used to work independently, with low supervision, not afraid to take decisions and responsibility. • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with various partners • Fluent in English, French is an asset What we offer Our success depends on the people who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
