YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’ As Environmental Engineer you will be part of Manufacturing Solutions department for Philip Morris International. The position is based in Crespellano (Italy). Specific responsibilities include: • Lead, collaborate, influence and steer the multifunctional global and local teams within our project-based organization. Be the catalyzer to drive collaboration within and outside function and project team boundaries to deliver sustainability agenda defined by the company • Act like a business owner, manage ambiguity and be agile to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Seek to solve existing and anticipate future needs via technology solutions in the energy, water and waste management area • Scout, identify and evaluate new and existing technologies to improve energy, water and waste footprint. Leverage modeling and simulation, prototyping and testing from proof of value through minimum value product to solution maturity. Solid technical background to drive and challenge • Leverage and foster internal and external ecosystems; bring the outside in and reshape/improve available solutions • Own cost, schedule and excellence of delivery throughout the whole project milestones and gates Who we’re looking for: • Master degree, PhD or MBA in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical or Automation Engineering or other relevant subject is preferred with at least 4 years of engineer experience • Solid experience in Industry 4.0 and innovation • Demonstrated technical background in the energy, water and waste technologies • Proven experience with project management • Excellent leadership and influencing skills, ability to communicate and steer at all the levels of the organization • Agile and able to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment • Inquisitive mindset and curiosity, ability to anticipate needs • Inclusive and engaging with the cross-functional team • Excellent English both written and spoken For Internal Candidate Grade level from: 9 - 11 Recruiter: Iva Kazakova Relocation package offered What we offer Our success depends on all people who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
