To get here we are working with short, mid and long term strategies that will be constantly evaluated. In this new position you will be a key player within this process. At PMI as Sr. Retail Channel Developer, you are at the centre of this fundamental transformation within the Tobacco category. Play a crucial role in driving the change and leaving your mark in evaluating our trade strategies. (Re)build our retail collaboration with existing and new strategic partners. And finally, develop new retail business formats, explore and initiate innovative avenues. Then, please continue reading and learn more about the main role responsibilities: - Be part of the Dutch Key Account & New Business Development team and serve as internal retail expert injecting retail business understanding into the organization - Develop a ROI-driven long term retail strategy together with the Key Account managers and retail development department - Drive and manage retail business development projects through experimentation and learning - Explore the potential of new channels for future portfolio expansion - You will build and contribute to business cases by submitting these to Benelux and EU management You would be a matching candidate if you recognize yourself in below profile: - You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with +10 years of experience in retail - You have a broad retail experience in operations, merchandising, category and format management - You worked at large retail formats as well have experience with niche specialty retailers - You have experience or a strong affinity with retail entrepreneurship and a ROI-driven mind-set - You have project management skills and love (project) teamwork - You get energy from going to the unknown and starting with a blanc sheet - You like to roll up your sleeves and explore new retail formats from scratch - You combine analytical skills with a practical, hands-on attitude - You dare to experiment, learn and improve WE OFFER You will be part of a professional organization of passionate people who drive global change together. What will the selection process look like? Talent Acquisition (TA) will perform an initial screening to assess whether candidates match with the defined vacancy requirements. If this is the case, the candidate will be invited for 2 competency-based (virtual) interviews. In parallel, you will be asked to complete 2 online assessment tests*. At the end of the process, each candidate will receive the assessment results, as well as actionable feedback for their further development. *Assessment Tests The tests are integrated in the selection process to increase objectivity of the final decision making. The assessment tests are composed out of a personality test, and a cognitive ability test. The results will not be saved in the employee’s file, and will only be used in the context of the vacancy for which the employee is applying. Results are therefore not used for purposes of performance evaluation.
