As a Domain Architect Data within the Consumer Commercial IT you will be working with the key stakeholders to promote a data driven mindset and solution design by unlocking potential and value we have. Showcasing business value of our data ecosystem and monetizing on the data we gather and manage will be of a strategic importance of moving the needle in our digital transformation journey. Together with a team of domain architects you will outline what such a journey looks like when empowered with data. Your day to day: As a Domain Architect Data, you will: • Detail all data entities in Consumer and Commercial IT, per system, per domain, per data owner to create a Consumer and Commercial IT Data Inventory • Link data inventory to Enterprise Architecture solutions (LeanIX) and associated data confidentiality ratings to close loop on data management • Define together with Business Data Owners a data usability and availability framework for the data inventory • Define together with Data Owners and Systems owners a data governance implementation approach, practices, tools • Design and govern a Consumer and Commercial Data Ecosystem to ensure data consistency and 1 single source of truth of Consumer Commercial IT data inventory • Activate Data Ecosystem via ways of working, Non-functional requirements, data monitoring to achieve its objective • Outline a data inventory roadmap including data capabilities, technologies, processes and organization to drive a data-driven journey across the department • Craft a maturity model for reference data, Master data matrix and work with enterprise and solution teams to deliver it • Outline a data hosting vs data inventory positioning model for evolving data privacy needs Main question this role will strive to answer: • We have a lot of data, what data is that, where is it, who uses it, what for, is it any good, where do we source it from, do we handle it well, where and is that optimal? • Do we speak the same “data language” for the solutions we build? • Do we have the methods, tools to speak same data language and do we do it efficiently? • How can I support Consumer Business Gateway and capability reusability approach? • Is our MDM and RDM approach sustainable and scalable? What can be improved? Where should we be in 2-3 years? Who we are looking for: • Extensive experience working on data architecture, conceptual, logical and physical data models • In depth experience in consumer driven data architecture, CRM-related data entities, solutions • In depth understanding of various Data stores and capability to design and validate performant data models • Solid experience in master and reference data management, governance • Experience in design data entity value chains in context of process design • Experience with large scale centrally built data integration landscapes with legacy outliers • Relevant work experience in applying data privacy guidelines and governing GDPR operations • Experience with decision making, insight generation based on data, critical metric structure, operational reporting • Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Scrum SAFe practices and agile delivery models • Multi-functional teammate with a good mix of technical and functional experience in eCommerce systems and retail and Analytics • Experience with data lineage tools, e.s.
