Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed in our electronic office in Shenzhen, China. As the project manager of software development projects (internal/ external development; new/ sustaining), lead all aspects of the schedule, deliverables and project quality you will start from detail requirement capturing, test plan creation to project execution, all the way to product launched and beyond. • Work closely with partners (internal & external) to build project requirement document including the software requirement specification and the configuration management plan. Support on the vendor selection process and RFQ. • Ensures the architecture design, the initial system design and the test plan are according to schedule at design phase. Review design risks and risk mitigation plan are put in place (DFMEA) before execution. • Ensures the list of project result are completed (e.g. detail design document, test result, DFMEA, etc.) at project closure. • Lead SW product sustaining activities and other SW tasks occasionally. Who we’re looking for • University degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering. • 5+ years of software development experience in consumer electronics, automotive industry, medical devices or scientific instrumentations, etc. • Experience in embedded software development, RTOS and/or embedded Linux system, Cloud software or mobile app development. (experience in managing the full development project cycle for consumer electronic products would be a plus.) • Familiar with Agile, waterfall and test-driven development process. • Familiar with project development tools, e.g. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucker, Github, Jenkins, etc. • Work experience in a CMMI level3 or above environment would be preferable. • Experience in continuous integration, continuous testing and DevOps is a plus. • Good command of English and interpersonal skills What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
