Your day to day As IT Project Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of the projects within the IT Enterprise Analytics and Data (EAD) domain. You will be using agile project management tools and methodologies to liaise with internal business and technical teams, external vendor partners and global support teams to ensure the project scope is defined, budgets are managed, and solution is delivered on quality and on time. You will be accountable for: • Day to day project delivery. You will be leading new data warehouse implementations, migrations, enhancements and decommissioning’s by applying project management expertise derived from previous experience in deploying large scale enterprise wide data warehouse projects • Leading a cross functional project team and demonstrating skill in navigating volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity • Applying relevant project management principles, practices, procedures and standards in order to achieve quality and compliance of solution and services • Utilizing agile methodologies and tools in the day to day management of the project. Prioritizing a backlog of work for project team members taking into account business values, existing KPIs and overall roadmap and strategy for the data warehouse • Collaborating with wide stakeholder groups to ensure the project budget, scope and timelines are well understood, communicated and adhered to throughout the project • Managing cross functional project team members • Demonstrating deep knowledge of data governance, data management approaches, and tools and the role of data governance in the successful implementation of data strategy • Proactively identifying risks and issues on projects - leading team to develop risk management and issue management plans • Identifying potential points of contention for missed deliverables: creating and implementing strategy to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget, identifying opportunities and propose innovative uses of IT solutions and IT services to address specific business issues • Anticipating problems before they occur: identifying the problem or risk, possible causes. Work with team to identify solution, select and implement most appropriate solution • Performing scrum master duties as needed • Developing and leading plans to address project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline • 10+ years of experience in managing complex, enterprise scale IT system projects • 5+ years of experience in managing and deploying successful data warehouse projects • 5+ years of experience with Cloud Infrastructure, preferably AWS • PMP, AWS certifications • Experience of delivering enterprise-scale Data Analytics projects • Strong knowledge to lead process mapping, ability to grasp complex data management concepts (including architecture, systems, data privacy) and translate them in language adapted to the level of knowledge of the audiences • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing • Ability to work under time pressure and handle big volume of details and data • Strong team working skills across matrixed client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams • Assertive, persuasive, with high achievement orientation • Capable to lead, learn, drive and work pragmatically and collaboratively • Professional etiquette, attention to detail and ability to think of the larger picture WHAT WE OFFER We offer the opportunity to join an organization where you can grow in a wide range of business functions.
