As our work evolves, there’s space to define your role and satisfy your professional curiosity. You’ll be working within the Supply Chain Integrity team in the Illicit Trade Prevention Group. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager Illicit Trade Prevention (ITP) Compliance to join our global EA ITP team, and play an active role in the biggest transformation in the history of our company. In this role, you will manage the Anti-Diversion efforts and strategy of ITP by ensuring a secure supply chain approach based on a lean and high-quality process together with ITP management, the impacted markets and the Anti-Diversion Governance Committee of PMI. You will lead the anti-diversion compliance topic for markets and support them in establishing their Anti-Diversion plans and activities, using the proper tools and controls. This job stands in UK (London). Potential to have the role based elsewhere (ie your current location) to be discussed on a case-by-case basis How can you make history with us? • Guidance, approval and monitoring oversight in the implementation of anti-diversion plans and compliance to Principles & Practices -P&P (PMI 10-C Know Your Customer & Anti- Diversion): governance and deployment globally for all product categories (e.g. conventional cigarettes, Reduced Risk Products (RRP)) with a focus on Higher-Risk markets. • Provide support to ITP Regions and markets on supply chain control best practices implementation. • Work hand-in hand with new markets launching RRPs by providing a controls assessment and implementation good practices including volume monitoring and product flow. • Assist the Anti Diversion Governance Committee (ADGC) by proactively analyzing risks and providing supply chain controls updates and escalations. • Support the annual market risk assessment (“scorecard”) and alignment with ITP regions and markets. • Manage product seizure follow-up internally and with authorities in specific jurisdictions. • Lead the relationship with and reporting/requests from external stakeholders. • Oversee alignment with other PMI global functions (e.g. Finance, Risk & Controls, Corporate Audit). • Increase the departmental knowledge of local supply chain control processes through permanent exchanges with the markets. • Oversee certain ITP compliance back-office processes. • Participate in cross-functional project(s) work. • Contribute to the company's transformation by continuous process improvements and maintaining strong collaboration among internal and external parties. Who we are looking for? • University degree in business, economics, law, or related field. • Proven market and regional experience (15+ years) in Illicit Trade Prevention, Finance/Audit/Internal Controls, or Supply Chain/Operations. • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Big 4 or other audit/consulting; FMCG; Risk Management, Internal Controls, Governance, Compliance; tobacco. • Drive results by being able to translate commercial actions into risk awareness, generate and share insights cross functionally. • Excellent customer focus – able to support markets with ITP views and insights. • Strong collaboration – working across different teams, Affiliates and Functions. You’ll be tasked to lead and take initiative, acting as a strong problem solver. • Ability to understand the big picture and anticipate – risk mind-set. • Committed to deliver work of the highest quality and you are comfortable handling multiple priorities with challenging timelines at a high level of productivity. • Able to engage with partners in a constructive manner at all levels of organization as well as different cultures and externally. • Able to prepare pertinent and structured content, present with impact and clarity coupled with strong communication and listening skills.
