Lab Scientific Project Coordinator – Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna Your ‘day to day’: As Lab Scientific Project Coordinator you will be part of our Decentralized Lab Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to the Supervisor Lab Services. The position will be based in Bologna. This position is accountable to compile scientific data and consolidate into statistical reports in the context of laboratory evolution and continuous improvement initiatives. He/she will collaborate and support in testing design definition in order to guarantee data reliability and robustness. In addition, this will be a key role in internal/external customer satisfaction through execution/monitoring between laboratories keeping high quality standards. Your Responsibilities: • Collect, integrate and analyze data sets and use statistical analysis to support decision making • Execute data reporting throughout laboratories on regular basis • Coordinate, carry out and follow-up on activities with partners (e.g. suppliers, customers, factories, clusters) regarding project scope, timing and budget, and report deviations from project plan. Utilize and adhere to Project Management best practices. • Gather, analyze and consolidate qualitative and quantitative data in the frame of project execution to provide information based on statistical evaluation and within clearly defined policies, principles. • Prepare presentations with logical flow of ideas, accurate detail content in order to provide management and targeted audience relevant and timely information for decision making. Who we’re looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in laboratory environment • Fluent in English • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with emphasis on technical writing • Demonstrated background on statistics • Very Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook) • Good project management skills • Good knowledge on ISO 17025 quality system and requirements as well as other international standards related to laboratory performance • Effective communicator, action driven, results oriented and able to deal with ambiguity • Comfortable with high management Grade level from: 7-8 Recruiter: Rita Gherardi Employment Type: Permanent Key things to know before you apply Relocation support is available for this job If you have been in your current job for less than 12 months or if you are on a Performance Improvement Programme, you must get the approval of your current manager before applying for the job.
