For our Combustible Category global team in Lausanne, Switzerland we are therefore looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic CC Projects. In this position you will be responsible for local CC brand portfolio optimization, key strategic projects, like coordinating sustainability initiatives globally to meet stated corporate ambitions and adhoc analysis and presentation building. This newly created role will offer a more organized and strategic approach to how we optimally manage our local brand portfolio from a global perspective, working closely with Markets, Regions, Operations and Finance as key partners. This role will work with colleagues from Sustainability teams, to develop KPI's and programs /initiatives to meet our corporate ambitions. Lastly, this role will work on presentations on CC strategy with the VP Global Marketing CC as needed. You will: • Analyze complex global data, including business and competitive trends and synthesizing this data into useful insights. • Build a Local brands portfolio strategy, identifying must win battles, must win markets and key action plans to win versus key competition. You will analyze market by market to determine the fate of each local brand—keep and grow; keep and milk; delist; or morph. • Lead semi-annual business update, coordinating with key partners on communication objectives and content. You will manage monthly virtual forums, as appropriate, sharing best practices as it relates to local brands with the wider CC global marketing community. • Work with PPMD colleagues on annual portfolio consolidation efforts. • Be responsible for ad hoc analysis to inform the CC Global Marketing Strategy, including data deep dives, making strategic recommendations and working closely with the VP Pricing and NRM on net revenue optimization/PVM for local brands. • On an ad hoc basis, help the VP CCGM to create compelling presentations to bring the business situation, vision, and strategy to life. • Be responsible as a member of a cross-functional team to help in the area of corporate sustainability efforts, like cigarette butt litter reduction by coordinating market efforts, presenting available toolboxes for markets to use, and reporting results. We’re looking for someone with: • College/University degree: Master’s degree in analytical type of program, i.e. finance, computer science, data analytics is preferred • Prior experience in business, strategy or commercial planning and/or global or regional marketing roles. • Commercial experience (marketing or sales) in market and strong CC product knowledge is a plus • Comfortable as an independent contributor who can build a strong network across functions. • Strong and demonstrated facility with Excel and PowerPoint and creating visibly pleasing presentations • Strong communication skills • Ability to turn data into a compelling story.
