For our Combustible Category Global team in Lausanne, Switzerland we are therefore looking for a Senior Manager, Portfolio Strategy and Innovation. In this position you will be working closely with the VP CC Marketing and other members of the CC leadership team to develop and deploy a Global CC portfolio strategy that leverages our strengths and finds new opportunities for growth for PMI CC category. In addition, this role leads the innovation pipeline for CC, working closely with PPMD colleagues to develop mid/long term innovations for our brands. You will: • Analyze complex global data, including business and competitive trends and synthesizing this data into useful insights. • Work with the VP CC Marketing and VP Pricing and NRM (Net Revenue Management). This role is responsible for creating a global PMI CC portfolio strategy, identifying must-win battles, must-win markets, and recommending key action plans to win versus key competition. • Lead semi-annual business update, coordinating with key partners on communication objectives and content. You will manage monthly virtual forums, as appropriate, sharing business updates with the CC Global community on key topics such as global business updates, innovation strategies and testing results, and other ad hoc topics. • Develop, with PPMD, market and regional colleagues, a strong and compelling innovation pipeline for Marlboro with applicability to other Global brands, including NTD (New Taste Dimension) flavors, filter technologies, and Sustainability initiatives. • Work with colleagues from markets and Consumer insights to test and validate new innovation features and platforms, as well as drive efficient initiatives that meet business requirements for maintaining top brand quality. • Be responsible for ad hoc analysis to inform the CC Global Marketing Strategy, including data deep dives, making strategic recommendations, and working closely with the VP Pricing and NRM on net revenue optimization/PVM for local brands. • On an ad hoc basis, help the VP CCGM to create compelling presentations to bring the business situation, vision, and strategy to life. • Manage monthly CPC process in which all regions and senior leadership are aligned to the innovation platforms and deployment plan with targeted goal of achieving 50% NPL success rate (New Product Launch). We’re looking for someone with: • College/University Degree: Prefer Master’s degree in analytical type of program, i.e. finance, computer science, data analytics is preferred • Prior experience in business or strategy or commercial planning and/or global or regional marketing roles. • Commercial experience (marketing or sales) in market and strong CC product knowledge is a plus • Comfortable as an independent contributor who can build a strong network across functions. • Strong and demonstrated facility with PowerPoint and creating visibly pleasing presentations. • Strong and demonstrated facility with excel.
