The factory controller is the financial adviser for the operations management team, supporting factory strategy and effective cost management. You will be responsible for enabling strategic decision-making by providing Operations management with accurate reporting, deviation analysis, and trend forecasting by: • Analysing and reporting manufacturing key performance indicators; supporting the country's Loss Analysis process and Zero Loss Journey targets setting & cascading • Consolidating country's original budget in terms of Manufacturing important metrics, analyse gaps vs. targets. • Preparing regular factory critical metric reports and timely providing them to the factory management and regional consolidation • Performing monthly reporting as per PMI procedures • Ensuring quality, completeness, relevance, and timeliness of submitted information • Analysing factory performance, evaluate reasons for variances from planned, providing management with reliable decision-making tools • Ensuring guidelines and methodologies are consistently followed, control data correctness • Preparing reports and performing ad-hoc analysis for the Factory or the region following the requirements and guidelines • Continuously improving reporting process to meet Factory objectives and management requirements, develop and optimize reports for the Factory management, propose options for improvement • Ensuring timely data availability for Factory PDCA and Productivity Office Areas of responsibilities will include: BUDGET - Consolidate Manufacturing Assumptions, Manufacturing essential metrics, and the productivity and cost optimization initiatives for accurate and timely financial processing - Provide data for regional consolidation by request - Perform gap analysis vs. local Zero Loss Journey targets and Regional targets - Perform gap analysis vs. PMI manufacturing manning standards Productivity and cost optimization - Contribute to the Productivity and Cost Optimization process through loss tree and glide paths' maintenance, modeling of improvement actions impact and actual results tracking in close collaboration with cost components' teams - Deploy PMI Current Best Approaches for Productivity Office and its cost components - Support Factory Controller with Inventory Counts and Statutory Requirements Compliance/ environment, health and safety - Ensure full compliance with local legislation and company policies and practices - Apply all Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) rules, policies, and practices - Pass through appropriate EHSS training, apply received knowledge in practice According to the overall responsibility areas listed above are the primary duties, responsibilities, and expectations associated with this job. Prepare and rationalize pivotal initiatives. Who we're looking for - Relevant university degree in Finance or similar field - Minimum 2 years' experience as a Finance Controller or similar position within operations/factory environment is key - Minimum 5 years Finance/Accounting experience preferred. - Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and SAP is required.
