Your role as Supply Chain Executive - Planning is pivotal in working with stakeholders to ensure smooth planning of functioning of demand and supply nexus for UK, Ireland and Channel Islands for both Conventional and Reduced Risk Products (RRP). Your ‘Day to Day’ Your focus in this role will be to liaise with commercial stakeholders as well as finance in order to create an unconstrained supply chain forecast. You will work with an upstream supply chain and manufacturing counterparts to translate unconstrained forecasts into production and ensuring excellent service levels at market are maintained and any risks are communicated in a timely fashion. You'll develop strong, collaborative relationships, work closely with various teams around performance, prepare information for quarterly business meetings and lead operational weekly calls. Responsibilities of this role will include: • Managing risk of product waste (LOGD) and working with the business to manage live risks and reduce financial exposure as far as possible • Acting as market level expert on portfolio, ensuring in depth knowledge into portfolio and process remains the key input into key decisions and projects • Ensure smooth function of inbounds logistics flows, coordinating with manufacturing, logistics and domestic warehouse to maintain frictionless inbounding of manufactured goods • Work closely with finance teams to manage budgets, working capital estimations and Month/Quarter end activities • Effective use of systems in preparation of sales forecasts, managing shipments and inventory forecasting • Reporting on performance & KPI’s, supporting financial analysis and highlighting/quantifying key risks for management decision making Who we’re looking for • We’re looking for someone with experience in a planning or analytical role ideally in an FMCG environment and understands the impact of operational, commercial and financial. • Strong data analysis and reporting skills • Experience of working closely with a wide range of departments including but not limited to finance, marketing and other supply chain functions • It would be desirable if you have experience in working with ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, however this is not a necessity. • Advanced level of skill in Excel is desirable • Strong record in building relationships and trust cross functionally • Attention to detail with an analytical approach What we offer We have the resources and the people power to succeed.
