Purpose of the role: To lead the transformation effort in Supply Chain data governance, establishing the global SC OPS data standards, ensures data quality assurance and manages enterprise integration requirements representing the needs of the function. Meeting these expectations is particularly critical for achieving Global Supply Chain strategy of scaling up digitalization, automation of processes and data analytics capabilities. Your ‘day to day’ as the Supply Chain Operation Data Manager: Data management: acts as a lead expert in identifying the Supply Chain OPS data needs, establishing the relevant business terms and data definitions, data lifecycle and retention requirements. Works closely with the Enterprise Analytics and Data (EAD) team to establish the data model and definitions. Ensures that data model and definitions are standardized across functional business processes and digital solutions. Data Quality: Develops Data quality requirements. Work closely with the Data Maintenance organization to establish regular data quality monitoring and incident resolution process. Drive efficiency of data quality assurance operations via active engagement with EAD on relevant tools and methods. Identifies and initiates changes in the data definition and work processes to improve quality of data. Data Synchronization & Interfaces: Liaises well with teams/persons assigned to data management roles and positions in IT and other functions to ensure definitions, process flows, interfaces and master data are cross-functionally agreed, documented and implemented. Owns & maintains the Supply Chain OPS data flow mapping within PMI systems landscape along with the owners and consumers of the data within & outside of Supply Chain, and develops & maintains the related documentation on the data flows & ownership. Data Governance: Drives & evaluates the change requests/needs on Supply Chain OPS data structure or flows, validates the impact of the requested changes with the consumers of the data within and outside of Supply Chain. Understands, monitors and share the data protection, regulatory and QMS requirements for data. Collaborates with Legal and IT team to anticipate any future regulatory requirements and to implement necessary changes to the working processes, business roles and data definitions. Data Improvement: Leads identification and assessment of the changes required to the SC OPS data definitions to deliver OGSM initiatives. Collaborates with partners from IT, Operations and other PMI business functions to drive the changes required in PMI enterprise data models. Acts as a led expert to support Data Governance board in addressing critical data governance decisions. Investigates the newest technologies on data management, and hygiene, and drives the feasibility analysis and the implementation of the best fit system solutions with IT and Business Service Providers Data Reporting & Compliance: Implements the relevant reporting to have full and continuous visibility of data quality and integrity within SC OPS, data models development and implementation status. Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by collaborators, and implement adequate processes to ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature. Builds the audit scope, plan and methodology for the Master Data maintenance & hygiene activities of Business Service Provider and conducts regular audits on BSP operations in line with the audit plan. Documents the audit findings, drives action plan development and ensures their implementation with BSP Tolling Compliance: Ensure that Tolling compliance principles are clear to all relevant business partners and bring up to Management in case of misalignment. File properly all relevant information in accordance with «Tolling Repository guidelines» to provide evidence of the strategic and entrepreneurial role of EU Supply Chain in case of inquiries from the tax authorities. Who we’re looking for: • MS/BS in Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, computer or Data Science. • + 5 years’ experience working in Supply Chain and related data management roles preferably in the FMCG, Electronics, Retail, Digital industry • Knowledge of specific systems and tools: Supply Chain solutions (ideally E2OPEN), E2E Supply chain visibility tool, extended knowledge of SAP, SAP APO and/or other relevant end to end planning solutions and optimizers (knowledge of Cloud based big data frameworks and large data governance programs is a plus) • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes, underlying data needs and dependencies with other functions. • Change management experience: ability to translate the changes in the business strategies, models and needs into the data structure requirements and good understanding of the supply chain digital transformation trends and the role of data in digital environment • Strong problem solving and agile project delivery skills • Comfort with ambiguity and passion for creating structure in a fast changing environment and experience in managing enterprise data assets in a large, complex organization.
