You will join a newly created Global Benefits team that will help shape the Total Rewards philosophy, strategy and build new programs to enable the transformation of PMI towards a smoke-free future. Reporting to Head, Global Benefits, your main responsibility will be to define, design and implement benefits programs which enables the transformation of PMI and drives our consumer centric, innovative, and collaborative culture. Solutions are designed through a deep understanding of the market dynamics, business environment and challenges, using data, allowing sustainable implementation, and meet employees’ needs and preferences to ensure attraction, engagement, and retention. Key accountabilities: • Contribute to the development and delivery of innovative and competitive PMI benefits programs, approaches, and methods (playbook and toolbox) to ensure they are competitive and compliant. • Act as Subject Matter Expert by understanding the market, business, and employees’ needs and provide insights and data and coming up with innovative ideas and potential improvements. • Design and cascade benefits related programs, frameworks, policies, governance, thought leadership and benefits branding in collaboration with customers and stakeholders that reinforces our business strategy, financial objectives, and culture • Monitor emerging trends, regulatory changes, best practices, and proactively share highlights with key stakeholders as appropriate. • Track and advise on key risks impacting benefits plans i.e., vendor, legal changes, investments, and operational risks. • Work closely with Total Reward Strategic Business Partners, Global Benefits team members, Benefits Service Delivery Teams, Mobility, Finance, and Tax to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. • Ensure benefits related information including products, providers and contracts are appropriately managed and easily accessible. • Participate in global, regional and market projects e.g., pension, health & wellness, flex benefits, programs requiring compliance with legislative changes. • Maintain cost discipline through smart insurance placements and vendor contract negotiations. • Oversee the design and development of an employee benefits captive for improved risk management and employee experience. • Support M&A initiatives for a successful acquisition, integration, and transition of benefits as required. • Manage key vendor relationship including conducting periodic reviews to ensure appropriate delivery and return of investment across quality, service, cost, and technological advancements. Who are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced benefits professional who is a highly motivated self-reliant individual ready to further broaden of their skills and add value in a fast-paced work environment. Other requirements include: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 10 years of experience in progressive corporate benefits environment or benefits consulting with a strong background in design, development, financing, and delivery of Health and, Risk Management Programs. • Considerable experience in insurances, establishment, and management of employee benefits captives with some experience in health and wellbeing and international benefits, particularly in the EMEA region • Proven track record of successfully partnering with key stakeholders, including Finance, Tax, and Legal to ensure benefits programs, particularly insurance-related and retirement programs are appropriately managed • Strong business and financial acumen, including knowledge of actuarial concepts • Leadership presence with strong collaboration and conflict resolution skills; articulate and persuasive to secure buy-in and support from key stakeholders. • Strong team player with excellent organizational and project management skills and able to work effectively in a remote work environment with a geographically dispersed team. • Robust comprehension of benefits regulations, compliance, and legislation. • Demonstrated negotiation skills to establish fair pricing, payment, and delivery terms. • Experience in M&A related activities including conducting due diligence and integrating and harmonizing benefits plans. • Works effectively with key management and vendors to comprehend business issues and opportunities for the development of strategic benefits initiatives. • Advanced software knowledge (MS office, particularly Excel, SAP reporting) What we offer?
