TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT • Contract Type – Contract (1 year) • Work location - Philip Morris Korea, 10, Gukjegeumyung-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Korea YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’ • Financial Planning & Analysis - Support overall budget schedule in cooperation with relevant departments, local management, regional and global PM to ensure all process is complete within due date - Monitor monthly actual spending of business expense and analyze the running rate of each department (YTD/YTG) - Collect, coordinate and review budget submissions from each assigned department(s) (Sales, Marketing, Customer Care Cost, Overhead), and provide periodic update of spending versus budget to local and regional management - Design and implement financial models and analytical reports to drive business decisions. - Provide business with building blocks to optimize financial decisions by performing: monthly and quarterly forecasting, annual planning and multi year planning, variance analysis of plan/forecast/actual - Ad-hoc reporting/presentation materials follow-ups • General Accounting - Ensure to close book monthly with timeliness and accuracy in accordance with USGAAP and perform analysis on Legal Entity View financial statements - Prepare monthly / quarterly USGAAP/KGAAP financial statements and provide information to stakeholders on a regular/ad-hoc basis - Collaborate with budget team for legal entity view Financial Statements and work closely with tax team and FSC team to mitigate any possible tax challenges and document relevant information to be provided to tax authority - Ensure to provide financial information for USGAAP and KGAAP annual audit / corporate income tax filing and comply with agreed SOX processes / provide Financial Statement independently for FSS filing - PO/PR/IR coordination to book expenses properly WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Bachelor’s degree or above, with major related to Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred • 3 - 8 years’ experience in Finance team in MNC • Experience to use SAP program is preferred • Good command of written and spoken English and Korean WHAT WE OFFER Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
