Process Lead WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR Philip Morris Investments B.V. (PMI) is looking for a Process Lead in Bergen op Zoom. This dynamic department is on the eve of a great challenge! It is not only a vast process that works with unique equipment and systems, but the department is deploying Integrated Operating System (IOS) named as OPEN+. In this context we are looking for to fulfill the mentioned position. As Process Lead, you implement loss analysis and loss elimination processes by utilizing effective problem solving & efficient process controls. You act as the owner of Center Line & Change Over systems and Change Management process. Your mission as Process Lead is to function as an expert in problem solving tools and to coach shop-floor team to get the desired business results. THE CHALLENGE As a Process Lead you participate in setting the 24-hour direction for the production line (s) during the Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and you are actively involved in the execution of the day planning. You provide information during the DDS meeting regarding the production line data. You are also responsible for monitoring Center Line, Change Over and Change Management systems. • Centerline (CL) management; you create and define the CL targets and limits for the production lines. You are responsible for reviewing, validating and updating the production line's new CL standards to meet business results. You develop the control strategies to enable operators to react to situations that are not under control, in addition, you ensure that documentation is present and used when situations arise (when Center Lines are not in the Limits). • Driven performance through loss elimination and continuous improvement. You lead problem solving activities using standard problem solving tools such as IPS, 6W2H & UPS to solve the chronic problems on the line in a timely manner. You centrally control daily management systems and loss elimination processes by applying standard tools according to the Integrated Manufacturing System (IMS) standards. • Changeover (CO) Management; you create and set conversion standards for all applicable SKUs/Blends on the production Line. You evaluate changeover process and coach your team to identify and implement improvement opportunities to achieve CO & start-up success criteria and standards. You lead and actively participate in Changeover & start-up events to recognize additional opportunities for change within process optimization. • Capacity building in problem solving and technical mastery; you develop shop floor team on process failures, technical troubleshooting through coaching and training on the job. You ensure the completion of the established training plan. • Change management; you lead the change process of processes / products, including benchmarking and possible introduction to other departments; REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS To be eligible for this position: • You will have completed a Technical bachelor education or similar; • You have great analytical skills & problem solving mindset; • You have 2+ years of experience in the same position within the process industry; • You have a good eye for technical details; • You have system knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office; • You have professional knowledge of the English and Dutch language; OUR OFFER You will become part of an organization that invests in you.
