Electronic/PLC Technician Specialist – Triaga Inc. Introduction: Be a part of a revolutionary change. Key Responsibilities • Maintain electrical control systems using a variety of components to achieve desired functions in manufacturing processes. Also, debug and use programs to verify components of the system and microprocessors, power supplies, circuit boards, ladder logic in software, and maintain and repair control systems throughout the plant. • Work with SERVO drives and components, work with word processors, spreadsheets, and CAD drawings. • Maintain and improve technical conditions of production equipment to achieve production and quality requirements, by respecting health, safety, quality, and production standards. • Performs electronic maintenance in compliance with relevant procedures to ensure production equipment availability. Support Production in executing brand and format changes. • Participate in installation and equipment modification respecting change management procedures to ensure equipment availability on time. • Maintain technical documentation to ensure information accuracy; prepare and update, whenever is necessary, standards-setting and a troubleshooting list of machines/processes • Complete necessary forms and introduce data in time to our information systems to ensure product traceability and equipment intervention. Monitor shift results through the analysis of production and quality data. • Ensure that maintenance instruments/tools are in good condition, standardize and align machine settings with the kits and spare parts. • Promote and apply all rules concerning Triaga Inc.’s quality, environment, health, and safety. • Ensure integral conformity with relevant legislation, internal policies, and procedures Who we’re looking for: • 18 years of age or older • Hosts a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education • Willing to work rotating shifts • Ability to wear required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) • Use of basic hand and power tools • Lift 50 lbs. by bending, stooping, climbing, standing during a 8/10/12 hour shift. • Ability to work on various surfaces including elevated platforms, ladders, power equipment, or in confined spaces. • 1-2 years of vocational training or associates degree • Work experience preferably in a technical field or within an industrial environment using PLCs. • Able to perform electronic maintenance activities for PLCs with production and the auxiliary equipment • Experience in coordinating/participating in technical development projects to improve safety conditions and more effective use of the equipment and spare parts to improve equipment efficiency • Flexibility to work in shifts (Rotating shifts) • Fluent in written and spoken English Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and crouch as needed 8/10/12 hours during a shift. Must be able to lift 50lbs continually during shift.
