Your ‘day to day’ As a Continuous Improvement Deployment Lead you will: • Support the deployment of OPEN+ across one Business Unit, working together with BUM (Business Unit Manager) in order to achieve expected targets across SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Moral) in line with PMI OPEN+ Strategy, while coordinating Pillars teams. • Monitor the impact of OPEN+ deployment in what concerns capability building and business impact. Work with close relationship with communication representative in the design and implementation of the factory OPEN+ communication strategy. • Deliver value through adopting and improving PMI/region best practices in a standardized and systematic way. You will be responsible for: • Support OPEN+ implementation and deployment within the factory with the support of all OPEN+ Foundation coaches. Furthermore ensure all methods, standards and processes within the region/cluster are fully in line with the global standards. • Consolidate and align IOS deployment. Coordinates and support Pillars teams and OPEN+ Factory Lead in what concerns the preparation activities for the deployment of IOS in the affiliate. • Monitor and communicate regularly the impact of OPEN+ deployment in what concerns Capability Building status and business impact. • Work with close relationship with OPEN+ communication representative in the design and implementation of the regional OPEN+ communication strategy. Ensure efficient communication and visualization on OPEN+ region strategy, roadmap and actions to guarantee maximum awareness. Engage region management teams and key stakeholders into communications plans. • Deliver value through adopting and improving PMI/region/affiliate best practices in a standardized and systematic way. Coordinate training activities on a factory level related to OPEN+ Foundation deployment. • Perform Health-Check and Step Up Card assessment in order to develop the proper capabilities within the affiliate. • Trains, coaches, certifies site leadership team and line teams on Open+ methodology and tools as per certified competences and skills • Ensure full compliance with local legislation and company policies and practices. Adhere to all Environment, Health and Safety (Sustainability) rules, policies and practices. Pass through appropriate Sustainability trainings, apply received knowledge at work. Inspect and use personal protective equipment as appropriate. Keep assigned work areas clean and orderly. Take an active part in Sustainability programs. Inform the superior immediately about all violations of Sustainability requirements, take appropriate measures for their elimination. Organize business processes at assigned work area in compliance with Sustainability rules, policies and procedures. Evaluate risks at work places, take appropriate measures for risks reduction. Organize timely trainings for subordinates on safety working methods and practices. Conduct safety instruction, safety traineeship, and safety knowledge assessment for subordinates in cases as required by applicable legislation. Ensure work conditions in department (division) in compliance with norms defined by local legislation. Ensure all subordinates adhere to all applicable Sustainability rules, policies and procedures. Work in close cooperation with Sustainability department to develop and improve departmental safety and job procedures. Who we’re looking for • An energetic, with strong communication skills, driven professional with Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics, Mechanics, Chemistry, Automation or Production (or other relevant to the function) • 2/3 years minimum experience in Manufacturing / LEAN or Supply Chain with previous experience in implementing and applying Integrated Operating System or World Class Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma or TPM methodologies in Industry (only experience in Manufacturing / Industrial environment will be considered) • Languages: Fluent in English and be ready to learn Portuguese in short period of time • Experience of using Microsoft Office • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks • Ability to train and coach management team and line team on Open+ methodology • Ability to coordinate team and tasks in line with Open+ methodology (minimal support required) • EU work permit to work in Portugal What we offer • Permanent local contract, with a competitive salary plus Tabaqueira’s employee Benefit including: Life and Health insurance, Pension Plan, Education allowance • A challenging work environment, with great development opportunities • Growing and development opportunity within the Company Our success depends on our talented employees who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
