Your ‘day to day’ As Procurement Executive you will be leading the sourcing activities for assigned products and services, to achieve the lowest total cost and minimizing risks for the local market while ensuring company quality standards are met. You will be accountable for: - Reviewing and defining together with customers their business requirements in terms of products/services needs and related standards of quality in order to establish the appropriate sourcing strategies for the assigned categories - Contributing to the definition, formulation and implementation of coherent sourcing strategies, Principles & Practices for the assigned categories based on business requirements and supply market trends in order to drive economies of scale and secure best total cost of ownership - Assessing vendors and evaluating their products, services, capabilities and potential synergies and drive strategies towards efficiency improvement in the procurement process. You will be conducting internal and external market research, evaluating findings, making evidence-based decisions and recommending on procurement matters - Analyzing current products/services portfolio and supplier base in order to identify cost savings and synergy opportunities and further consolidate the sourcing strategies of the Purchasing function, primarily for local categories - Conducting negotiations with suppliers to address the defined cost saving targets and standards of quality of products/services to be purchased while streamlining the supplier base as well as recommending selected supplier for approval by the internal customer's - Conducting competitive seal bidding (whenever required) through the sourcing application and coordinating the preparation and/or review of supplier contracts with the Law department and user area - Supporting supplier performance assessment by user area based on the KPIs defined in the contract's), report on issues and recommend appropriate corrective action plans - Improving business relationship with internal customers and suppliers by conducting regular reviews to ensure customer requirements are communicated to suppliers and expected targets in terms of performance and products/services quality are met. YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF You are a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You bring with you: • University degree in Arts and Science or Engineering • 3-5 years of relevant experience • Experience in Procurement field, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations • Previous experience in CPG is an asset • Bilingual: French/English is an asset.
