Initiate accounting corrections in case of inconsistencies found (e.g. for wrongly mapped wage types), as well as calculate and post personnel related accruals, in conformity with all US GAAP, legal, fiscal and statutory requirements, taking into consideration hybrid payroll landscape. Responsible for complex activities on salaries and wages due to different tax / local regulation environment • Support Outsourcing teams. • Analyses and support for internal and external audit requirements, liaising with the auditors and colleagues across the business as required. • Work closely with Controller and Financial Planning Team to ensure consistency in variances interpretation and provide guidance and accounting support to the affiliate according to US GAAP standards • Identify areas for enhancements, eliminate inefficiencies and promote continuous improvement * On the spot collaboration working under a Multicompany team Who we’re looking for An energetic, driven candidate with a college/university degree, preferably in Finance, Business Accounting, Administration, Economics, or equivalent • A professional with minimum 3 years of experience in either Record to Report activities and accounting. Salaries & Wages experience is a plus. • An advanced English speaker / Portuguese is a plus. Capable of having 1:1 interactions in English. • Experienced individual in MS Office suite (Advanced Excel, Powerpoint) and financial integrated systems, preferably SAP • A person with strong analytical skills, able to work with large data volumes, tight deadlines and ad hoc requests on demand Independent and autonomous but flexible to work in a collaborative environment within the team.
