We are seeking an IT Lead Architect to join our IT Product Lifecycle Management team, located in Lausanne (Switzerland). As IT Lead Architect, you will use your knowledge and experience to set the vision and define the strategy to build and maintain PLM solution. For this, you will leverage previous experience in similar domains and your strength of mind and confidence to present and defend architectural topics to internal stakeholders. You will develop, maintain, and provide IT architecture principles, standards & guidelines for the PLM domain in alignment with the overall architectural vision and direction. We believe, that with your support, we will build 3-5 year plan and a continual change pipeline with modular design of business capabilities, digital technologies, and the data behind them. We will shift to a perpetual evolution model to accelerate time-to-market of new IT capabilities, improved alignment between IT and the business while reducing the IT landscape complexity at large. You will be responsible for: • Define and own the strategy and Vison for the PLM architectural domain • Within the PLM domain, lead that team that defines, designs, and delivers technology solutions to meet business objectives. • Lead requirements gathering with internal customers to define solutions maximining business value. • Collaborate with other Architects, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Subject Matter Experts to design PLM solutions, integrating seamlessly with the overall corporate landscape. • Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize the return on technology investment • Recommend on appropriate technology options suited for the business capability to be delivered. • Effectively manage the balance between business requirements on hand and long-term strategy • Experiment to prove the value of your own ideas & innovations, driving continuous improvement • Interacting with mid to senior level executives from within and beyond IT. • Consider additional implications of supporting Computer Validated System (CSV) processes. Your qualification, Education and skills will include: • Critical Requirements: o Bachelor or Masters’ degree in a relevant field o Confirmed 12+ years’ experience as a lead Architect for a large IT organization o Experience with formula, Process, and assembly manufacturing, integrating both in house and 3rd party execution. o Detailed experience in several of; Innovation, product system engineering, xCAD integration, Product Commercialization, Data synchronization, IOT, Maintenance & repair o AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate/Professional or similar proved experience o Integration technologies (API, ESB, ETL, Message Server), Preferably MuleSoft Anypoint. o Experience with a major PLM application • Preferred Requirements: o Experience with Aras Innovator o Software development certifications o Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Certified Professional) o Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) o Linux and Windows operating systems and virtualization o DevOps practices and Agile software development o Preferably Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence), Jenkins, Artifactory o Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, etc.) o Databases: MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Openshift), Oracle o Programming languages: Python, Java, .NET, PowerShell o Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana and ELK stack o PowerBI reporting o Basic networking, including Firewall, Load Balancers, DNS, etc. o Security remediation process (vulnerability assessment and patch management) • Industry specific Skills: o Understanding of Manufacturing / Supply Chain processes o Experience in IT departments in a consumer product manufacturing industry. o Experience in an FMCG, Pharmaceutical or Electronics manufacturing environment What we offer: Our success depends on the people who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
