For our Social Media Channels team in Global Studio, London, UK we are therefore looking for a Manager Social Strategy. This position leads the strategy for social media engagement, framework, operating principles and guidelines. The person acts as SME to markets and hubs, to craft, inform and support their goals in line with PMI's ambition to build a consumer-centric brand by engaging with our communities on various channels (owned social platforms, ratings and reviews, owned communities on our websites or platforms, Google My Business, etc). You will: • Define content and engagement channel strategy for a specific digital channel or groups of channels, define the objective of the channel and liaise with the wider Digital Marketing Strategy team, Brand Communications team and other relevant partners to ensure alignment with PMI overall vision and ambitions. • Collaborate with other functions within Consumer and beyond, to gather data and inputs required to validate hypothesis for each social channel strategy initiative. You will run effective collaboration sessions such as workshops and working groups to incorporate feedback from partners and validate hypothesis with markets via close collaboration hubs and social operations team. • Document and champion the social channel strategy via available communication tools to teach and upskill the wider PMI organization onto Social Media capabilities. You will proactively search opportunities for capability improvement and collaboration with other channels (digital and offline) to build value for our consumers. • Be responsible for the social engagement and inflow strategy, by proactively seeking to improve the community experience via innovative capabilities and new features. • Own the overall strategy and implementation of Social Media pilot projects and initiatives, using agile methodology (test and fail fast), by collaborating with other functions outside of Consumer (legal, EA, regulatory) to determine the most efficient way to market responsibly to LAS and LAU, and support the markets to make it happen We’re looking for someone with: • Extensive experience in social media management specifically within large organizations, and proven success with leading corporate brand-building and reputation social campaigns • Practical experience growing social accounts and communities • High proficiency and expertise in strategy building and management of large-scale social media projects and teams (specifically related to content and engagement) • Master’s degree in Marketing, Management, Communications, additional certifications in Digital Marketing preferred • Strategic leader with extensive experience of managing and influencing cross-functional projects and collaborating with different levels of seniority among internal partners • Strong analytical and communication skills • Proficiency in English, further languages are an advantage • Proven experience to deliver business value through Influencer marketing and/or User Generated content strategies for global brands What we offer Our success depends on the talented employees who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
