The Trade Engagement department is an important pillar of the Country NL. The mission of the team is to develop a B2B strategy with our retailers in mind. It needs to consider their business, needs and gaps and find solutions that help them in their daily life. The goal is to create share of love and share of market. The Trade Engagement Executive is accountable to support the enabling of the indirect channels to deliver the best in class commercial performance and retail NPS. The role is about supporting in a practical way on the different multi-category initiatives that are on the trade engagement agenda. It requires a close collaboration with key internal stakeholders, such as Marketing, Country team and Commercial Planning. Responsibilities of the role: • To take the lead in agency collaboration on implementing activation in a qualitative way to best serve the indirect retail channel and commercial teams. (Mystery Shopper …) • To set up or support a trade Engagement plan for different multi-category initiatives in order to educate and to engage our trade partners in the best way to support the commercial KPI’s. • To write a clear, professional, and singular tone of voice communication in local languages to our retailers on different communication platforms (copywriting). You take contact with all internal stakeholders to refine and check the content in time. (Legal, EA, Marketing …) • To interact on a professional way with third party suppliers on purchases of activation items, following up from first contact to delivery at the field team. • To foresee clear and understandable communication towards Field Sales through Teams, IB and Sales Letter in collaboration with the commercial planning team. • To help improve our retailer approach on different levels of interaction from a Trade Engagement point of view with a constructive mind-set. • To analyze past initiatives to compare the results vs. goals and to find improvement area’s for future initiatives. Required experience: • A good knowledge of the local market and retailers through front office experience. • Third Party Partner (agency) management experience is a plus. • Key Competencies: • Strong consumer centricity: Retailer knowledge & insights • Strong collaboration skills: You seek true collaboration and you feel comfortable in reaching out to other stakeholders to achieve the goals. • Presentation skills: You are able to bring a structured story (in ppt.) to an audience of peers in order to convince them of your plan. • Planning: You can work on different tasks, projects and initiatives at the same time and make the necessary deadlines. • Independency and hands-on mentality. • Native level of Dutch (for NL position) speaking and writing. Being able to write in a professional and pleasant way is a plus. • You are comfortable to speak English. What will the selection process look like? Talent Acquisition (TA) will perform an initial screening to assess whether candidates match with the defined vacancy requirements. If this is the case, the candidate will be invited for 2 competency-based (virtual) interviews. In parallel, you will be asked to complete online assessment tests*. The assessment tests for this role is a cognitive ability test. The results will not be saved in the employee’s file, and will only be used in the context of the vacancy for which the employee is applying.
