Joining Technology & Platform Engineering The Technology & Platform Engineering is a group of IT experts who are passionate about ushering PMI into a smoke free future through technology. From best-in-class cloud infrastructure to leading-edge software engineering, this diverse multicultural group provides the future-proof technology foundations powering Philip Morris International’s digital transformation. Inspired by digital-born companies, we have adopted new ways of working where self-organized teams and empowered individuals are the norm. We are looking for a skilled and passionate, Security Engineer to join our Engineering Excellence Team to build well-designed, scalable and effective software solutions for our internal clients. As a Security Engineer in this domain, you will have the opportunity to build high value, differentiating and impactful templates and solutions that will interface with our end customers and speed up the development, time to production, and improve security of our products. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic self-starter with deep expertise in complex DevOps and security topics, capable of working with different integrated systems and with ability to present them to broader audience. JOIN US! WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? • 2+ years of experience as an AWS (security) engineer (AWS Certified Security – Specialty certificate would be an asset); • Broad security knowledge and experience in DevOps area • CISSP certificate would be an asset • Strong background as a security engineer in the cloud environment; • Experience with tools like Aqua, Checkmarx, JFrog X-Ray (or similar); • Knowledge of methodologies and standards like OWASP, NIST etc. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines building (Jenkins) will be an asset; • Knowledge of at least one modern language (Python, Go, JS); • Knowledge of monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch or ELK preferred); • Experience with Software development and delivery processes and frameworks; • Containers knowledge - Docker/Kubernetes; • Strong foundation in Linux and networks administration/troubleshooting; • Knowledge of GIT (Bitbucket will be an asset) • Fluent English (spoken and written, B2+); • Strong interpersonal skills including creative thinking, attention to detail, collaboration, teamwork, and a drive to learn and succeed • University degree Additional Experience Preferred or Helpful: • Experience with product Atlassian tools like Jira (product backlog) and Confluence (documentation).
