As the Treasury Supervisor, you will be responsible to lead all activities related to Treasury and Accounts Receivables, reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Accounting, to ensure proper support is provided to Finance management. Your ‘day to day’ TREASURY Ensure that all customer remittances are recorded correctly and in a timely manner and that such remittances are in accordance with the company's Principles and Practices. Monthly, review debtors' age analysis to ensure appropriate actions are taken to avoid overdue balances. If an overdue balance does appear, agree on the next steps with wholesale managers and senior management. As needed, provide information and ad hoc support to management, such as in the run-up to budget/price changes and in the event of customer liquidity issues. INSURANCE Ensure that all necessary insurance policies are current, renewed, and paid on time. To minimize cash flow and business impact, ensure that all insurance claims are submitted, followed up on, and settled as soon as possible. Maintaining insurance policies and ensuring effective collaboration with the group's global risk function. ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING Ensure that annual and rolling forecast balance sheets are prepared and submitted on time, that they are accurate, and that they align with all PMI Financial reporting standards and requirements. Coordination of the balance sheet reporting requirements with all collaborators, management of the collection and review of all required inputs, and information challenges as needed to ensure the balance sheets submitted are accurate and reliable. Prepare key performance indicators for the balance sheet forecast (DSO) Ensure that all balance sheet variance reporting is completed monthly, quarterly, and annually in accordance with PMI reporting guidelines. Handle operational tasks such as the month-end closing process for Treasury, Accounts Receivable, and other Fleet and Insurance-related activities. ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE Oversee the local Accounts Receivable team and policies, such as calculating customer credit limits, payment terms, methods, and credit security. Ensure that appropriate secured and unsecured credit limits for customers are established in accordance with the company's Principles and Practices, and that such limits are formally reviewed on a regular basis. Ensure that the new and existing customer account processes are effectively led in accordance with global standard methodologies and principles. Monitor these limits daily to ensure that new sales orders can be released quickly without exceeding credit limits, or that timely approval is sought and obtained to ensure that shipment commitments are met. OPERATIONAL IMPROVEMENT Planning and participation in annual statutory audits, as well as ensuring adequate record keeping. Review and challenge processes to identify areas for improvement in terms of quality, internal control, and efficiency, and recommend changes as needed. Continue to streamline documentation flow and make better use of available systems to improve processes. Ensure that process documents for all tasks are in place, and that they are reviewed and updated on a regular basis. STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT Ensure effective communication with the Sales & Distribution Department and with Customers to increase awareness of credit sales considerations that are needed to achieve overall business objectives and to resolve routine queries and problems. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT Supervise the daily activities of the AR Accountants and assist in the establishment of priorities as needed. Coach the team to ensure that professional and individual skills are assessed and developed appropriately. Participate in team goal setting, performance management using MAP2.0, and career/talent planning and evaluation. Who we’re looking for - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field - Minimum 7 years in a finance role, experience in Treasury and Accounts Receivables, Insurance & Credit Management is key - Solid experience in developing Treasury financial models to assess various financial plans, such as Cash Flow models, operating profit/loss, and net income; performs financial analyses - Experience in preparing and presenting proposals to recommend changes in Cash Flow improvement initiatives - Experience in leading corporate Insurance policies from inception to claims management - A minimum of 2 years of direct reports manager - Solid Stakeholder engagement - Advanced Excel skills are required, as well as the ability to create excel templates, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasting model - Demonstrated working experience within multinational or global organisations is required Other key requirements: - Capacity to prioritize and manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks - Financial analysis and variance reporting skills - Results-oriented and goal-oriented - Customer service/delivery focused - Setting priorities and working independently - Ability to share ideas and influence thinking through effective communication skills - A detail-oriented problem-solver with strong analytical abilities - A person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong customer service skills What we offer Our success depends on our dedicated employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
