This position will be in Hong Kong with Philip Morris Asia Limited Purposes of the Job: Manage preparation of all actual & budget financials (Original Budget, Rolling Forecasts), as well as reporting in conformity with US GAAP requirements and PMI instructions. Business partnering with other departments to support them in terms of financial impact of their actions and evaluating their plans from financial point of view. Supporting local PMI management in their decision making by providing guidance on tax and profit optimization studies as well as effective resource management and allocation. Manage FP&A team in terms of planning, priority setting, task splitting, completing reviews and ensuring high level of timeliness & accuracy in output. Lead special projects to improve profitability and growth of the company, as well as conducting reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities. Your ‘day to day’: Original Budget Preparation: Initiate budget cycles, communicate business targets, persuade maximum organizational participation in the process, design efficient systems and models to collect, to validate and to analyze the budget data. Rolling Forecast: Proactively manage the Rolling Forecast, organize departments for relevant volume, pricing as well as cost studies. Actual Closing & Reporting: Ensure proper month-end closing of income statement and balance sheet for all financial cycles. Business Partnering: Act as a trustworthy Finance business partner to advise and support business counterparts. Strategic Decision-Making Support: Design business scenarios and execute various analyses/models which involve highly sensitive information to support top management in deciding on critical issues such as price settings and new brand launches. Project creation and management: Continuously challenge and streamline local Finance processes and systems. Financial Accounting and Tax: Oversees tax and treasury matters, including pension, insurance, dividend management and forestalling Manage overall financial reporting controls (SOX) with collaboration with Risk & Controls team Team Management: Motivate, coach, lead, train and supervise the subordinates in order to ensure that their professional and individual skills are adequately assessed and developed. Who we’re looking for: University / master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or Engineering 8 - 10 years of experience in a large multinational company with experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and/or Treasury, Budgeting &Reporting, Ops. Finance. In-depth understanding of US GAAP. Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions. Solid business acumen and understanding of a variety of functional areas within the business. Strong organization and time management skills, requires close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities. Solid verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
