For our flavor center in Bergen op Zoom we are looking for an analytic and organized: Flavor COE & Manufacturing Excellence Leader/Manager Desired start date: August 15th 2022 Duration of STA: 12 months / L2L Key responsibilities/accountabilities: • Maintain key work process for newly established COE department in alignment with central functions and main FPC stakeholders related to flavor manufacturing, P4, P5 and upcoming platforms • Establish new ways of working when necessary • Enhance foundations of CoE Flavors to support growth of Flavor business (Knowledge transfer packages, documentation, best practices, learning for future product lines) in accordance with best practices of current COE Flavors • Enlarge collaboration upon industrialization process for manufacturing of new flavor codes in collaboration with various stakeholders involved in process • Focus on long-term technological, digital and process improvement opportunities. • Implement & operate training center concept for Flavors and P4, P5 and future platforms • Envision next milestones and roadmap for CoE Flavor • Lead and develop small team of engineers, willing to dedicate time to support the team members Main requirements: • Hold an Engineering degree (Chemical, Process, Mechanical etc.), and minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience with flavors or chemicals in Chemical, Food, Pharmaceutical or Process industry • Can define path towards objectives in complex situations while meeting time and resource constraints • Capability to initiate, host and facilitate workshops to desired outcomes. Tight follow-up with colleagues and stakeholders. • Should be able to effectively communicate in a variety of settings (one-to-one, groups) and within various levels of the organization. • Strong networking within PMI community, Central Functions, Flavor community and great capability to align stakeholders • Strong will and potential to further development leadership skills • Capable of challenging the status-quo in a collaborative way to reach a compromise viable on long term for all parties • Team player, empathic • Lead-by-example attitude • Agile, disruptive, bold, think out of the box personality
