Your ‘day to day’ YOU will be based in Portugal as part of IBS Risks & Controls organization, under the management of the IBS organization. YOU will review business processes in order to ensure that they are streamlined and that main business risks are identified and addressed. This should be done while ensuring that our financial reporting is reliable, our internal controls are solid, or need to be revised in order to comply will all applicable PMI Principles & Practices, and, as well as regulatory requirements. In the context of your responsibilities, YOU will be, not only supporting Portugal entities, but working for and with other PMI markets/teams. YOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES WILL BE: • In accordance with approved R&C Risk Assessment Plan, advise local, regional or global business risks and improving control environment efficiently, by timely raising areas of concern for existing /future processes; • Prepare detailed Advisory reports including respective findings or points for attention and follow up until their timely completion by the business; • Collaborate with Risk & Controls colleagues, responsible for other markets, to identify and exchange best practices, to simplify and efficiently implement new control solutions; • Promote organizational awareness and advise about the Philip Morris standards, company Chart of Controls and other internal or external requirements. Assist/guide departments to identify, develop, document and issue their Principles and Practices, review them against local and PMI requirements; • Mainly for the design of financial reporting controls and to perform testing over SOX, to report issues identified during the process, including review of the action plan, issue evaluation, etc. in line with PMI best practices and ICFR methodology • Perform systems monitoring & developments to ensure compliance with respect to data security, data integrity and users documentation; • Support PMI Fiscal Compliance Program or other specific Compliance related activities. • Perform reviews of business processes to ensure effective design and implementation of financial reporting controls. • You will use your analytical, technical and project management skills to assess and test the effectiveness of the company’s control environment. • You will interact and communicate the results of your work to management at local and PMI levels and find the ways to streamline and standardize controls globally. • You will have the opportunity to experience working in a global team while working in cross-functional and global projects. Who we’re looking for • A candidate with Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration, a Master Degree is a plus, any other professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIA, CPA) would be considered as an asset • A candidate with 1 - 5 years’ experience in finance, internal control, audit, or related areas within international environment (Big 4, General Ledger, Finance controlling, Tax etc.) • A candidate with good understanding of risk assessment and SOX 404 • A team member willing to work both individually as well collaborating in high energy Team • Fluent in English, local language and/or any other European languages is a plus What we offer Permanent local contract, with a competitive salary plus Tabaqueira’s employee Benefit including: Life and Health insurance; Pension Plan; Education allowance.
