We are establishing the Project Management Office to support implementation and embedding of the project based ways of working within the organization. -Anticipate organization and business needs, set up PMO strategy and services, to optimize commercial projects planning & prioritization, resource management and project management capabilities. -Lead project submission process, ensuring right project selection and alignment to business strategy. -Establish governance standards to monitor project progress, identify risks and opportunities and report to senior management, enabling further decision taking. -Manage interdependencies and coordination across cross- functional projects. -Guide and coach project managers to ensure optimal project delivery. -Set standards, processes, equip organization with methodologies and templates. Support organization on process mapping if needed. *YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’ • PMO Strategy : Anticipate organization & business needs, set up PMO strategy and services, to optimize commercial projects planning & prioritization, their alignment to business objectives, resource management, project management capabilities and linking execution to strategy. • Strategic Project Planning : Lead projects submission process, ensuring availability of accurate information such as project objective, deliverables, resources needed, timelines and expected outcome (KPI’s), enabling alignment to business strategy and project selection by Management team. Facilitate project prioritization. • Project Governance : Establish governance standards to monitor project progress on deadlines, deliverables, resources, timelines and outcome. Identify and address opportunities and risks. Manage interdependencies and coordination across cross-functional projects ensuring that information on project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders. Provide monthly reviews to senior management with overall projects overview, main project progress updates, identifying risk and opportunities enabling further decision making. • Resource Allocation : Justify, manage and allocate resources for projects based on business knowledge, input from project managers and general understanding of project tasks; anticipate and mobilise cross functional resources when required (impacted commercial departments, Legal, CA, IS, Finance, 3rd party suppliers) • Project Management support : Coach cross functional project managers to ensure optimal project delivery, by providing project management methodologies, setting standards, equipping managers with processes and templates and encouraging their use. Ensure organization is trained on new methodologies in line with Business transformation. • Project closing : Establish project closing process; ensure that the measurement and reporting of project's achievements (KPI's) is done, challenges/learnings monitored, enabling optimal decision making for future projects selection and delivery. *Requirement •Minimum 10 years working experience as project/program/portfolio management (PMO) expert or practical experience as a project manager in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment •Experienced in implementation of change and improvement projects or ability to do so •Excel in Projects management tool •Excellent communicator, being able to influence without hierarchical power, and agile in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders •Maintains personal effectiveness and people focus under pressure, high speed of change and uncertainty •Ability to guide, coach and advise at all organizational levels to effect sustainable change and improving the project and process maturity level of the organization •Good command in English and Mandarin
