You will support Middle East Africa (MEA) & Duty Free in data driven transformation via generating & deploying data products, to create value out of all available data sources. Working as a part of the center of expertise (COE) team to support Markets decision making processes delivering descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive data products. Offering appropriate research & development areas by understanding business needs. You will identify opportunities for data enrichments and facilitate collection and storage mechanics in close collaboration with the Markets and central teams. Continuously you will be monitoring and maintaining the performance of data products with end users. Your ‘day to day’ Working with market commercial and regional/central teams to deliver data products that will serve to regional OGSMs & priorities in B2B, B2C or B2B2C area: In B2B area, accountability of data products in below categories: - Resource Efficiency / Effectiveness models - POI bases Brand Growth models - Business Building models In B2C area, accountability of data products in below categories: - Acquisition models - Retention models In B2B2C area, accountability of data products in below categories: - Reseller / Service Points selection models - Reseller activation models - IoT generated Data Models Who we’re looking for - At least 5 years professional working experience in Data Science with proven record. - Strong exploratory data analysis & visualization, applied statistics (hypothesis testing, causal inference, experimental design) and feature engineering skills - Hands on experience in data preparation pipelines, predictive data modelling with machine learning techniques - Strong coding & modelling experience in Python - Proficiency in using SQL & experience with NoSQL databases - Experience with distributed environments is a strong plus - Strong business understanding and judgement - Strong analytical and learning capability - Excellent communication & data storytelling skills to both technical & non-technical audience Education required BS or MS degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, MIS, or other related quantitative fields.
