Your ‘day to day’: As Manager IT Operations you will be part of IT Department, specifically under the Global IT Operations and Product Platform, for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna. You will report to the Manager IT Operations Deployment EU and you will be member of MTB Leadership team. The position will be based in Bologna, Italy. In your role you will lead and develop an adaptable and agile IT organization to deliver all information services and systems required by affiliate business in an optimum and secure way by leveraging PMI information technology. Specific responsibilities include: • Manage and build an adaptable, flexible and agile IT organization that attracts, develops and retains the best global talents in order to deliver IT solutions required by PMI, currently and in the future. • Manage Departments'/ Team's budget and takes appropriate actions in order to optimize costs and to remain within agreed parameters. Recruits, trains, develops, motivates and manages the department's staff performance. Ensures that team members have the competencies, capabilities and tools to consistently deliver on individual, team and strategic objectives. Ensures effective succession planning within the area managed. • Build and actively participate in the definition of new IT OPS systems support model and deployment process • Ensure a Standardized and Simplified System Landscape • Ensure proper resource allocation and best approach for pilot solution validation in the affiliate • Liaise with central teams and align on IT portfolio. Understand and promote the Global Application Portfolio. Be the consultant for local management regarding all IT topics. Promote PMI IT strategy and solutions in local management team. • Manage external and internal service providers to ensure that services levels are met. • Ensure appropriate system documentations and training programs/materials are in place • Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, Environment, Health and Safety. Report all situations requiring actions in order to minimize or eliminate risks exposure to personnel, company assets and societal impacts and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards. Requirements & Skills: • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Science Degree or Equivalent* • 6-8 years in Information Services / Information Technology at least 3 of them in managing team • Experience in multinational companies • Experience in Operations environment and systems • Experience in GMP, GAMP5 and CSV area (would be beneficial) • Strong knowledge ITIL Framework, Project Management, Agile • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with various cross-functional partners • Fluent in English • Communication, influencing and management skills What we offer: Employment Type: Permanent Relocation package offered Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
